Before we ring in the New Year, we wanted to take a moment to say a massive thank you to our incredible team! 💙

This year has been filled with adventures, laughter, and so many meaningful moments none of which would've been possible without our dedicated carers, support workers, and behind-the-scenes legends who show up every single day.

You've explored beaches, tried new activities, built skills, and created genuine connections right alongside our participants. You've brought warmth, patience, and enthusiasm to everything you do.

Summer in Adelaide can feel overwhelming when bright light, heat, or busy places make sensory processing harder. Many adults accessing NDIS support in Adelaide experience this, and it’s completely okay.

Simple strategies can make outings calmer and more empowering, such as:
• Taking cooling or shade breaks
• Wearing sunglasses or hats for light sensitivity
• Moving between activities at a slower pace
• Choosing quieter, low-noise spaces

Everyone deserves a summer that feels good at their own pace.

Holiday activities can naturally support an adult’s NDIS life-skills goals without feeling like “work.” Simple festive tasks often build everyday confidence in meaningful ways.

Cooking supports sequencing and independence, decorating encourages planning and creativity, shopping provides real-world budgeting practice, and wrapping gifts strengthens fine-motor skills. These gentle moments can all become opportunities for capacity building at your own pace and in ways that feel enjoyable.

We’ve got an EXTRA fun weekend coming up, and we can’t wait! 🌟🎉
Two big days, two awesome adventures… join us for one or come along for both!

→ Saturday 27th December:
We’re heading to Balhannah for a Cherry Picking day, bursting with sunshine, sweet fruit, and plenty of laughs. It’s the perfect summer vibe!

→ Sunday 28th December:
A DOUBLE adventure! First stop: the Hahndorf Farm Barn for animal cuddles and farm fun.
Then we’re off to Beerenberg for Strawberry Picking, bright berries, big smiles, and lots of “look what I found!” moments.

It’s going to be a weekend full of joy, friendship, and unforgettable memories, and we’d love for you to be part of it.
