INCLUSIVE HOLIDAY PROGRAM - TERM 4
With the school year coming to a close, get ready for the biggest holiday program of the year! With 30 days of a variety of fun activities, these holidays cannot come quick enough.
We focus on capacity building, developing social skills and creating friendships during our inclusive holiday program. These group activities are designed to make you feel included and comfortable, with our awesome support team right by your side.
Scan the QR code and fill in the submission form, or call us on 8285 3313 to book your activities in today! Get in quick, because some days are limited numbers.
*For each day, please bring lunch, a drink bottle, any necessary clothing (eg. bathers for swimming days) and the required money as listed on the flyer*

SATURDAY GROUPS
Our Saturday groups get underway on the 18th of October. They are a great opportunity to access the community in a social setting, with people of similar age and interests. Our group schedules are below, for our 7 groups:

> South Girls Group

September was action packed, highlighted by trips to the Gawler and Royal Adelaide Shows, some outdoor games with the warmer weather welcomed, footy training snaps and dance parties!

SALISBURY COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS PAGEANT
Empowering Futures are once again entering a float in the annual Christmas Pageant for 2025! After a great turnout last year, we are hoping to be even bigger this year. Come and join our float as we walk down John Street, Salisbury with as many of you guys as possible!

Well done to our Kilburn inclusive boys on their 2025 premiership! They went undefeated all year and won by 1 point in the Grand Final versus Kenilworth on Saturday. Thank you for all those who came to show support 🖤🤍

Our Kilburn Inclusive boys are playing in the Grand Final for the SANFL Inclusive League this Saturday!

We need your support! We need as many people there as possible to cheer on our undefeated boys as they go for the premiership!
If you are participating in our Saturday group and want to come and watch, please let us know and we can organise an earlier finish to enable you to get there in time. If you aren't participating in our Saturday group and want to watch, please let us know and we can organise transport and supports to allow you to cheer on our boys!

AUGUST
In a month full of capacity building, friendships and skill development, here are some of our many highlights!
We gardened, cooked, shot hoops, attended the Gawler Show, did arts and craft, bowled, read books, and our Kilburn Inclusive boys kept their undefeated streak going to advance to the Grand Final!

Empowering Futures is a learning environment based around training to give participants the empowerment to have a voice, make their own choices and take control and plan for their future.
Empowering Futures is a unique provider.At present, we are the only providers that offer 1:1 independence training within your own home as well as Tailored life skills programs. We will work with all people with a disability even if you do not have a NDIS Plan and we have an extensive network of provider links to assist you in finding appropriate services. We look to empower each individual with skills in all areas of their lives so they can reach maximum independence.
We work alongside participants to assist them in learning skills for self-advocacy, living skills, life skills and social inclusion. We have a program for community support workers to learn the basic principles and fundamentals of care work.
All Empowering Futures participants will be given a well-being plan. Training in living and life skills will be based on each individuals learning style, needs and goals to ensure a person-centred approach to empower them with the skills and tools to achieve maximum results and live a more independent lifestyle of their choice with fewer supports. All training is based on Adult learning principles and SMART Goals ( Specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, time-bound)
