An amazingly successful week of orthopaedic surgery at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne - in addition to the regular high volume elective cases and trauma surgery, blitz week has helped bring forward surgery for some of Victoria’s longest waiting public patients. Ortho Blitz week at StVs pushes on! Most of the operations are being performed for long wait patients in Victoria who certainly need the team’s expertise. Thank you to the dedicated staff in SPC and all the hard working nurses and Physio’s on level 9 - St Vincent’s Centre of Excellence. Our community loves your hard work and dedication!

The Ortho Blitz week continues - as a part of the increased cases, StVs Public will perform 20 robotic joint replacements. Special shout out to Anna for all her hard work in organising and Shane for bringing in the second robot for the week !
