The Physio Plus team in Mackay & the Whitsundays have been showing up all month long. Whether it’s grown, stuck on, or slightly questionable, every mo helps us raise awareness for prostate cancer, because the reality is, the pressure men feel from society often stops them from speaking up.

🚁🌟The team out & about to support the CQ rescue helicopter service

Some of our Physio Plus Mackay team recently attended the HeliCore Rescue event, and we are proud to continue our support of the BMA RACQ Rescue Helicopter Service. 🚁💛

The ladies enjoyed an afternoon of nibbles, beverages, and great company while hearing from Rescue Crewman Ben, who is preparing to take on the Three Capes Trek in Tasmania. His journey, alongside other dedicated supporters, is helping raise vital funds to keep CQ Rescue flying and saving lives 24/7.

👏🏼👏🏼A big thank you to everyone involved in organising such a wonderful event, and to Pilot Leigh Wilkinson for sharing valuable insights into the incredible work you do.

It was great to have our Northern Queensland PHN representative Aira in clinic recently, meeting the team face-to-face and walking us through how we will be capturing data while working in rural communities.

🏥North Queenslanders living with chronic conditions in rural and remote areas will soon have access to support closer to home, thanks to NQPHN’s team-based healthcare initiative.

🚨🚨We are excited to launch services starting in Dysart & Clermont from the 14th of October.

✨This initiative aims to improve access to high-quality, person-centred allied health care for rural and remote communities, ensuring services are delivered closer to home✨

At Physio Plus, we pride ourselves on our enthusiastic, compassionate and informed Physios, Occupational Therapists, Exercise Physiologists, Massage Therapists and Pilates professionals who are passionate and dedicated to the best in evidence based practice. Physio Plus provide a range of services including sports injury management, orthopaedic rehabilitation, occupational health, musculoskeletal physiotherapy and women’s and men’s health. We have extensive experience with a vast range of conditions of conditions including sports injuries, back and neck pain, knee and shoulder pain, preventative care, work injuries, children’s injuries and motor vehicle injuries. Physio Plus have a number of convenient locations across Australia! We open early and close late and have excellent on site facilities at all of our practices.
