Some of our Mackay team wore purple and green today in recognition of International Women’s Day yesterday💜💚

It’s a small way for us to acknowledge and celebrate the incredible women who are such an important part of our team. We are so grateful for the care, dedication and support they bring to our clinic and community every day.

A special thank you as well to our wonderful Practice Manager Tea, who has already learnt that our team has a bit of a sweet tooth and kindly made some delicious cupcakes for everyone to enjoy 🧁

👋🏼👋🏼Do you remember Jianqi…also known as ‘Jackie’ ?

Well… he couldn’t stay away! We are so excited to welcome him back after completing his uni placement with us. Whether it was the culture and care we receive and give to our patients or the elite lunchroom chats, something clearly drew him back!

We see Jackie as a passionate physiotherapist with experience and interest across sports, musculoskeletal and neurological rehab, whilst delivering personalised and collaborative care.

He also graduated as Valedictorian of his UQ physiotherapy cohort and is strongly committed to advancing the physiotherapy profession, evident in his work with the Australian Physiotherapy Association and the UQ physiotherapy program🙌🏻

A Mackay local and a enthusiastic Exercise Physiologist! Charlotte brings a strong background in reformer Pilates and a whole lot of positive energy to our clinics.

Working across both Mackay and the Whitsundays, and she’s all about helping patients build strength, move better and create healthy habits that last. Known for her warm, friendly approach and ability to genuinely connect, Charlotte takes the time to understand each person and tailor programs to suit their goals.

She’s passionate about helping people feel confident, supported and empowered to move well and we are so glad to have her on board 🤸🏼✨💪🏼

Starting 2026 strong at Physio Plus 💪

Our first Lunch & Learn of the year saw the team fine-tuning lower limb fibreglass casting skills — because when it comes to orthopaedic physiotherapy, this is very much our bread and butter (the lunch was just a bonus 😄).
