We are so proud of our friend!

He’s taken on a huge transition — new school, new team, and exciting new opportunities. With two key team members heading off on maternity leave, we started planning this transition nearly two months ago, making sure he was at the center of it all.

From collaborating with family and stakeholders, to buddy shifts, training, and everything in between, he has adapted amazingly well. We’re so proud of you! 👏

Happy One Year, Nathan!

If you haven’t had the absolute pleasure of meeting Nathan, you are truly missing out.

Nathan is our very first PPT, and today we honour his incredible commitment, dedication, and willingness to always step up — he never says no. Nathan works with participants with higher support needs, and the results speak for themselves.

He consistently receives outstanding feedback, with praise for his ability to manage challenging situations while remaining calm, composed, and professional. His report writing skills and the way he communicates are truly impressive, and he always ensures every detail is captured with clarity and precision.

While we have offered further career development opportunities, Nathan genuinely loves working face-to-face with his participants and continues to create innovation within our company along the way. His passion for the work is clear, and his presence brings confidence and stability to both participants and staff.

Nathan has also led the implementation of our Return and Earn program, and we couldn’t be more thankful for his initiative, leadership, and dedication to improving the services we provide.

Nathan, your impact does not go unnoticed. You consistently go above and beyond, and we are so grateful to have you as part of the Summit team.

What makes these supports so amazing? The consistency, care, and genuine dedication behind them.

For over a year and a half, Caleb has been their key support worker, providing steady guidance and encouragement every step of the way. Watching their growth has been incredible — their independence has flourished, and their confidence has grown beyond what we could have imagined.

We absolutely love being part of their support network. Caleb, we can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done and continue to do. Your dedication truly makes a difference.

Happy One Year, Ash K!

Our wonderful Ash has been an incredible asset to our team and our culture. She brings so much heart, dedication, and positivity to her role, and it’s clear how much she truly cares about the people she supports.

Ash has been a strong leader, supporting a particularly beautiful young boy for four years. This level of dedication, commitment, and leadership is something we truly honour, and we are so grateful to have her.
Ash shows up every day with a strong commitment to achieving the best outcomes for her participants. She is a natural leader among her peers and has made a meaningful impact in helping one of our participants live a more fulfilling and supported life.

Over the last few weeks, Ash has worked diligently to ensure a safe and supportive transition while she is away. She has completed buddy shifts with new staff, created supporting documents, collaborated closely with the family on routines, and wrapped her arms around the team to make sure everyone feels confident and prepared.

Her commitment and dedication never go unnoticed. We feel very lucky to have Ash in the office with us, especially as she prepares to go on maternity leave in just a few short weeks. While we will miss her, we are excited for this next chapter and the amazing things she will do when she returns.

We have exciting plans for Ash and her career at Summit, but first it’s time for her to enjoy motherhood.

We can’t wait to see her continued growth and ongoing career with us here at Summit.

Today we celebrated our wonderful mums-to-be 🤍

Although we had to postpone our team meeting, it was so important that we still took them out for lunch to honour and celebrate them. They have given so much dedication and care to so many families — and now it’s their turn to step into this next beautiful chapter.

We honour his commitment, leadership, and unwavering support for all of his participants. Kiernan has achieved incredible growth with the participants he supports and has received consistently positive feedback from external stakeholders, highlighting his dedication and the meaningful progress they have observed.

At Summit Abilities, every support worker is carefully onboarded, trained, and supported by our Directors but what can’t be taught is heart. And that’s exactly what continues to shine through in the feedback we receive.

It’s the patience.
The genuine care.
The extra effort.
The way our team shows up day after day to create safe, fun, and meaningful experiences.

This feedback is a reflection of the passion our staff bring into their roles and the relationships they build with participants and families. It reminds us why we do what we do and how powerful the right support can be.
