💜☕ Cuppa for Dementia Morning Tea ☕💜

This morning our teams came together to host a Cuppa for Dementia morning tea — a meaningful opportunity to raise awareness and spark conversations about dementia.

Across Australia, events like these remind us that awareness begins with connection. By coming together over a simple cup of tea, we’re helping to build understanding, reduce stigma, and show support for individuals and families impacted by dementia.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part and helped make today special. Together, we continue to Connect, Nurture, and Grow. 💜

Invisible disabilities are disabilities which can’t be noticed at first glance. These range from mental illness, chronic disorders and other physical and neurological disorders, with an estimated 80% of all disabilities being invisible.

Despite not being noticeable to others, invisible disabilities can heavily impair a person’s ability to engage in their day-to-day activities, in ways that people may not realise… That’s why it is so important that we help give people with invisible disabilities the care, appreciation and attention they need, to live a fulfilling life.

Here at Healthy Mind Australia, we are sending encouragement to everyone who has spoken out about their challenges, successes and experiences with invisible disability, over the week! - We see you!

This Mental health Month, to spread awareness, we wanted to highlight some of the key statistics of Mental Health in Australia:

Did you know that according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (2023), 42.9% of Australians have experienced mental illness at least once in their lifetime?

Additionally, 8.4% of people have had comorbidity of both a mental illness and physical condition. Meaning approximately 28.5%, or almost one third of people with a disability or other condition are affected by mental health disorders.

That’s why here at Healthy Mind Australia, we are proud to have a team that works with a passion to support Australia’s mental health. We know just how fundamental it is to your wellbeing and want you to trust that your Mental Health is in the right hands.

🌍 Today is World Financial Planning Day 2025 💡

Financial planning isn’t just about money — it’s about freedom, independence, and choice.

For people with disabilities, having the right financial plan can make a world of difference. It can mean feeling more in control of your future, understanding your NDIS supports, and having the confidence to set and reach personal goals.

At Healthy Mind, we believe everyone deserves the chance to experience true financial freedom — no matter their circumstances.

Let’s keep working together to make financial wellbeing accessible for all. 💙
