I can’t believe that a week ago today, I facilitated my first retreat. So much planning & work goes into a retreat, making sure everything is right & you deliver what you promised. 💕
I am so grateful to all the beautiful women that attended. They were open to sharing, they allowed their tears to flow & they connected to each other. They were all on different stages of their journeys, and yet they came together and supported each other.

23 years ago I received a gift of life.

23 years ago I received a brother.

To my kidney sibling David, I am so grateful to be on this journey with you, yes there has been some health challenges but we are still healthy 23 years later.
Our donor brought us together, and you gave me a family. Your family are so important to me, your beautiful wife Narelle (my sister) and your 3 gorgeous kids that I love to bits and pieces.
Can’t wait to celebrate and eat cake with you.

The woman that are attending are a beautiful mix of ages, some are on their spiritual journey, some just beginning. I am honoured with the trust they have given me, to hold space for them over this weekend. I can’t wait to nurture & pamper you all. ❤️

Remember we haven't finished in the year of the Snake 🐍 until the 16th of February.
Before we gallop into the year of the Horse 🐎we still have some "stuff" to complete before we shed our skin.
Our retreat is the perfect time to prepare yourself for the dynamic energy, bold actions, personal growth, and new beginnings.

AND YES, I did start the smoke alarms with my bonfire, but I was determined to bath in sage today. 🤭

I can’t believe it’s been a week since I had my surgery, and how blessed my life is.

Thank you all for your beautiful heartfelt messages which I will get back to, I have read them and they really touched me. ❤️

When I first saw my surgeon, he explained the best and the worst case and I believed I received better than the best.

I was prepared for the worst case which involved a surgeon on standby to cut my sternum, my left vocal cords highly likely to be cut, and to have a titanium plate and screws attached to my sternum.

The left side thyroid was removed with great difficulty - over 2 hours, but no further Issues.
It was the size of a fist. 👊🏽

I feel so blessed that Geelong has amazing medical professionals, our hospitals are equipped & I have an amazing outcome.

Again thank you all… let the healing begin! 😘

There are days when you just want to switch off.
There are days when you really don’t want to speak to anyone.
There are days when everything feels hard.
There are days when you just want be a human being instead of a human doing.

However you are feeling today I invite you to gently close down your eyes and take a nice deep breath in through the nose and gently exhaling through the mouth as you release what does not serve you?

It’s ok to sit in silence.
It’s okay you want to shut yourself out for the day.
It’s okay to put your needs before everybody else’s.
