I am urgently seeking a room to rent for a 19-year-old NDIS participant who is at risk of homelessness if accommodation cannot be secured within the next week. They are a quiet, respectful young person who keeps to themselves, is a non-smoker, and is very mindful of others and shared spaces. They are supported by an experienced NDIS provider and would make a low-impact, considerate housemate. The budget is up to $200 per week, with bond and rent able to be paid upfront. They are flexible with the length of stay and are open to both short-term or longer-term arrangements. If you or someone you know may be able to help, please send me a private message. Any support or leads would be greatly appreciated.

✨ GET TO KNOW US ✨

NAME: Georgia

ROLE: Support worker

Question: Why did you want to become a support worker?

I became a support worker because I’m passionate about helping others live fulfilling and independent lives.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Outside of work, I love staying active, especially running marathons, which has taught me dedication and focus through challenging times.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?

If I could have one superpower, it would be invisibility, so I could quietly observe and better understand others around me

If Georgia is someone that you might like to support you, head to our website www.sensorystuffsupportservices.com to get in touch now.

✨ GET TO KNOW US ✨

NAME: Renee

ROLE: Support worker

Question: Why did you want to become a support worker?

I wanted to become a support worker because everyone out there living with a disability is someone’s Mum, Aunty, Cousin ect and everyone deserves to be treated like an individual and shown the kindness you would show to your family members.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I love to be in the kitchen - making a little sweet, always. Relaxing with a crime podcast and hanging out with my family.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?

My super power would to be to have a double of myself - then I could get things done twice as fast and be in two places at once.

Renee comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the disability sector. We are so excited to have her on board. If Renee is someone that you might like to support you, head to our website www.sensorystuffsupportservices.com to get in touch now.

🍽️ MEALS WITH MEANING- Nominate someone for a FREE home-style meal delivered to their door this Friday.

This is a no-strings attached initiative that has already provided our community with more than 100 servings of food cooked with-love by both our staff and participants. 🥹 And we want to keep on giving!

Our last two weeks have been filled with beautiful nominations of such very deserving people and our participants are more than ready for week 3. This weeks meal is FRIED RICE 🤤

Show someone how much you appreciate them and see them by nominating them. Because even one kind gesture can change one persons entire world 🌍

All meals are cooked and prepared in a commercial kitchen and all participants are supported 1:1.

You can nominate now by heading to our website www.sensorystuffsupportservices.com

🛝 Simple Moments, Big Impact! 🧃💬
A trip to the park and a pit stop for a slushy might seem small — but for our participants, these moments build daily living skills, boost confidence, and strengthen social and community participation in fun and meaningful ways.

At Sensory Stuff Support Services, we know that growth doesn’t always happen in a classroom — sometimes it starts with choosing a flavour, paying at the counter, or having a chat on the playground.

💖 Our friendly all-female team is passionate, experienced, and currently taking on new NDIS participants across Geelong and surrounds!
