Our No Limits Content Creation team has been out and about again - this time working on an upcoming video for The Local Eatery.

After location scouting for next week’s shoot, we popped in today to meet Ananda and his team - with the crew absolutely on song!

Meanwhile Jaxon and Ben were busy getting ready for their acting roles in front of the camera next week - we can’t wait to see them in action!

It’s fantastic seeing our team working together, building skills and telling local stories in the community.

🎤🎶 A Special Welcome for Hollie! 🎶🎤

During our recent performance at Regis Aged Care Torquay, our director Luke took a moment to officially welcome Hollie to the team in front of the residents - and it made for a pretty funny moment! 😄

Luke joked that now we’ve got Hollie, we might not need Hendo anymore… but let’s be clear - that’s definitely not true!

Both Hollie and Hendo have been incredible members of our community, bringing great energy, support and plenty of laughs to the group. We feel very lucky to have them both as part of the No Limits family.

Welcome officially to the team, Hollie… and don’t worry Hendo, your job is safe! 😉

🎭No Joke… Our Musical Theatre Program Starts April 1! ✨

It might be April Fools’ Day, but this is definitely not a prank… our brand new All-Abilities Musical Theatre Program kicks off Wednesday April 1st, and we can’t wait to get started! 🎉

Each week we’ll be singing, dancing and rehearsing a classic musical, building towards a huge end-of-year performance where everyone can shine on stage (or behind the scenes!).

We’re also incredibly grateful to Beav's Bar for providing our rehearsal space and continuing to support our all-abilities programs. It means the world to our community. ❤️

The program will be directed by Melinda Hickey from Surfcoast Dance Company, with vocals and choreography by Charlotte Polwarth.

🎭 No experience required - just bring your passion!
📅 Starting Wednesday April 1
⏰ 10am – 2pm
📍 Geelong

🎬🎥 Filmmaking at No Limits – Pre-Production Begins! 🎥🎬

Things are well underway in our all-abilities Filmmaking Program, with the team meeting today to kick off pre-production for our brand new short film – "Bring Me Number 9".

Today’s session was all about planning the shoot:
📍 Location scouting – and we’ve now locked in our filming locations!
🎭 Props and costume planning – including… the mysterious wig you’ll see in the photos 👀

You might be wondering… why have we bought a wig that looks suspiciously like Cats AFLW star Nina Morrison? 🤔 You'll have to wait and see!

It’s fantastic to see our filmmakers working together on story, locations, props and production - learning the full process of making a film from idea to screen.

🎭✨ Introducing Our All-Abilities Musical Theatre Program!

We’re incredibly excited to launch a brand new Musical Theatre program at No Limits Geelong, in partnership with the amazing team at Surfcoast Dance Company!

Every Wednesday, participants will come together to sing, dance, act and rehearse a classic musical, building confidence, friendships and performance skills along the way.

The program will be directed by Melinda Hickey, with vocals and choreography by Charlotte Polwarth, bringing professional experience and plenty of energy to the group.

And the best part?

All that hard work will lead to a HUGE end-of-year performance where participants can shine on stage in front of family, friends and the community. 🌟

🎭 No experience required - just bring your passion!

🎶 Limitless at Regis Torquay! 🎶

Our Limitless band hit the road today and headed down to Regis Aged Care in Torquay - and what a show it turned out to be!

The residents were absolutely up for it, with plenty of singing along, dancing and big smiles all round. All that hard work at rehearsals at Beav’s Bar is really paying off, and it definitely showed in today’s performance. The group sounded great and brought amazing energy to the room.

A huge thanks to everyone at Regis for having us - we had a blast and can’t wait to come back again soon! 🎤🎸

🎬♻️ Content Creation Crew at GDP Industries! ♻️🎬

Our Content Creation team had an awesome visit to GDP Industries, where Lachlan was kind enough to show us around their impressive facility.

GDP is doing incredible work in recycling hard-to-dispose products and keeping them out of landfill, while also creating employment opportunities for people with disabilities right here in Geelong. 💛

Our crew were absolutely on point during the visit:
🎤 Jaxon stepped up as presenter, asking Lachlan some great questions.
🎥 Holly and Aimee also had a special moment returning to their workplace during the week!

Of course… we kept a close eye on Holly to see if she worked harder at GDP than she does with our content team 😄

A huge thanks to Lachlan for taking the time to show us around. We’re already looking forward to getting back and visiting GDP’s other facilities around Geelong soon!

🎶 Band Practice at Beavs Bar! 🎶

Every Tuesday our Limitless music crew gets together at Beavs Bar to rehearse, refine the set list and get performance-ready for our gigs across Geelong and Melbourne.

There’s plenty of hard work that goes into it… but let’s be honest, it’s also a lot of fun! 😄 From learning new songs to building confidence on stage, the group keeps getting stronger every week.

All this practice is getting us ready for our next performance - this week we’re heading to Regis Aged Care in Torquay, where we’ll be bringing the music (and hopefully a few singalongs too!).

Sometimes the best feedback we receive is hearing how much joy music can bring. ❤️

After one of our recent gigs at Wallace Lodge, we received this beautiful message from Arlene about her dear friend Edita, who joined in the singing on the day!

Messages like this remind us why we do what we do. Seeing residents singing along, dancing, holding hands and reliving special memories through music is incredibly powerful.

A huge thank you to Arlene for sharing this with us - and to Edita for getting up and being part of the fun! 👏🎶

🎶✨ Limitless at Kardinia Parkside! ✨🎶

Yesterday our music group Limitless hit the stage at Kardinia Parkside - and what a show it was! 🙌

We rolled out our new set list, and safe to say… it was a winner with the residents! 🎤🎸 The room was full of toe tapping, clapping, and plenty of singalongs.

Now, we can’t show you their faces (like those old dentist ads 😄)… but trust us when we say there were a lot of smiles!!

We’re so proud of our crew - the confidence, the energy, the way they connect with the audience - it just keeps getting better every gig. 💛
