We’ve had a fantastic response to our up coming Veterans and Partners program.
Through the various chats and emails exchanged, we understand there are not many programs that meet the needs of both the Veteran and supporting parter at the same time.
We’re excited to be sharing this unique program with our Veteran community 🙌🏻
We have two places remaining and will close our applications on the 18th of March.

What I love about Well Beyond Service is the way our local communities come together in support of those that have given so much to service.

Well Beyond Service - Partners Program 11-13th Apr 2026. Musselroe Bay, Tasmania.

We often get so busy in life, we forget to make the important things important.

Picture this…..time. slows. right. down. An opportunity to relax and enjoy a spectacular location. Delicious meals, a warm and comfy bed, with the possibility of seeing the Aurora Australis.
Time to explore, have fun with nature and equine based activities, focusing on wellness. Evenings around a campfire, under the clearest skies, sharing laughs with others that understand service life and its challenges.

Why come along to our partners retreat - why not?

This is a peer led program, where lived experience is respected and valued. You won’t find any of the following around our campfire:

Well Beyond Service - Partners program 11-13th April 2026

We have listened to your feedback and with the support of The Veterans’ and Families’ Centre in Burnie, our next program will be for Defence Force Veterans and their partners.

A three day program in the peaceful and picturesque North East of Tasmania, Musselroe Bay.
The program provides an opportunity to slow life down, reconnect with yourself and your partner.
With a focus on wellness beyond our service roles, the program explores fun and functional ways to build relationships and manage stress.

This fully funded program is no cost for participants, departing and returning to Launceston.

To secure a limited place around the fireplace for yourself and your partner.

Roll on 2026 and living well beyond our service 💚

We continue to share our program with the support of our local community and
collaborating with others equally passionate about the wellness of those that have served in our Emergency Services and Defence Force.

Our 2026 line up will include:

💚 Opportunities for individuals who do not enjoy a group setting to participate in the program

Our Well Beyond Service program allowed us the time to slow down in a safe and beautiful place with others, as we focused on our wellness.

Beyond the campfire and around the country, we have stayed connected.

Why we value horse interaction on our programs🙌🏻

🐴Trust & Respect
🐴Connection & Communication
Theses are the foundations of a quality relationship.

These powerful and peaceful animals offer us a mirror to our emotions and body language. Conditioning for our various roles often forces a disconnect from these things.

When our words fail and emotions are difficult. These beautiful animals hold a special space that allows you to be seen, have a non-judgemental connection, where healing can happen💕

Each animal brings their own personality and lived experiences that can include trauma, mistrust and gruelling careers.
Without a single word exchanged these animals (big +small) invite connection to be present and safe in the right now.

We value the healing qualities and quirky personalities of our horses and look forward to sharing more of this precious connection on our future programs.
