✨ Europe 2025 highlight? Hands down – meeting the incredible Boldijarre, founder of Eminence Organics, in Budapest! 💚
When I first planned this trip, I knew one thing for sure: if I ever came to Europe, I had to make a stop in Budapest to visit the beautiful organic farm where all the ingredients for Eminence Organics come from. 🌱 I even wrote them a letter, and to my absolute delight, I got a reply saying I’d be able to visit. The timing didn’t quite line up though – the farm was still under refurbishment on the dates I requested.
But then came the surprise of a lifetime: Grace from Eminence HQ in Canada 🇨🇦 offered something even better. She said Boldijarre himself would be in Budapest at the same time and would love to meet me! I was beyond thrilled. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I’d be sitting one-on-one with the man himself. I felt so lucky and privileged. ✨🙏
It made me realise something so special too – I’m not just a number to Eminence Organics. This incredible experience showed me how valued we truly are as spa partners, no matter how small. That feeling of being seen and appreciated is something I’ll never forget. 💚
We met at the most charming spot near Buda Castle – a restaurant called Balthazar (ironically also his name 🤩). Let me tell you… I was totally starstruck when he walked in! And yes, he looks way younger than his age (we all know his skincare secrets 😉).
From the very start, it felt like catching up with an old friend. My husband Oliver and I had such a fun-filled, casual afternoon – Boldijarre was warm, hilarious, and so thoughtful. He even gave us his train tickets to help us explore the city 🚆💛.
He ordered all the Hungarian classics – kebabs, chicken paprikash with dumplings – and we sampled every type of homemade lemonade. The elderberry one? Game changer – thank you for ordering that for me, Boldijarre! 🫐🍋
Of course, we chatted about Eminence too – from its humble beginnings to now being in 64 countries 🌍 (with the US as the biggest market). We even touched on the impacts of global warming on farming in Hungary – a powerful reminder why supporting eco-conscious brands matters so much.
Between his personal stories (so funny!) and his insider tips on Budapest, the afternoon flew by. I wanted to share a little piece of home too, so I brought him an Aussie care package – macadamia chocolates, Tim Tams, and yes… even a jar of Vegemite 😂. It felt so special representing Australia 🇦🇺 and showing him a taste of what we love back home. I can’t wait to hear what he thinks of the Vegemite!
Before heading off, we were treated to a tour of the breathtaking Budapest Opera House – honestly one of the most stunning I’ve ever seen. 🎭
I left Hungary feeling so happy, grateful, and deeply inspired. A huge thank you to Grace at Eminence HQ in Canada 🇨🇦 for making this happen, my Aussie Eminence family 🇦🇺 for the kind introductions, and of course the amazing Boldijarre for taking the time to meet us and spoil us with a truly unforgettable lunch. 🥂💚
What a dream. What an honour. Forever grateful. 🙏✨
