So excited to be able to be offering some wonderful opportunities for our kiddies to learn more tools to support themselves during these school holidays.
Not only for groups for 5-9year olds but also 10-13year olds.
We’ll be enjoying three 90mins sessions over the our school holidays sessions for $85.
We’ll be learning tools to help relax but start to understand how to support themselves too during those big moments.
These sessions will be all about giving our youngsters tools to carry with them throughout their lives. Whilst of course still having lots of fun in the process 😊
These classes are not like are normal yoga sessions. We’ll have room to have games, craft and movement making it accessible for children to enjoy the benefits of yoga without the pressure of having to be still. We will learn how to find those quiet moments in between moments of play and making new friends

Kids yoga is back 🧡
Starting next Friday 4:30pm come and join me for chance to introduce our little ones with tools to help them at moments of stress and anxiety and see the benefits of yoga for our little ones xx

KIDS YOGA(ages 5-8)…a bit last minute but we’re pulling it together anyway! Join Sam for a beautifully curated class for your little ones! Through movement, craft, breathing and little chats your child will learn some techniques to help reduce anxiety and worry and build confidence and calm! From pillar to post we rush
Conditioned to fit as much as we can within the space of our 24hours
Ending the day for many forgetting what we’ve accomplished
Forgetting the journey
Forgetting the process
The success of coming to life.
The objects we hold in our hands
The interactions we’ve enjoyed
The beauty we’ve taken in
The smells that bring us comfort
It’s within these moments
We feel the breath of life

Who we are

This week has been filled to the brim with many lovely and also very busy moments
A bit of juggling as the hubby travelled to Adelaide for work,
last week of term for the little ones,
And the last week of term at our goulburn west yoga class 🧡

It has been a week where Ive felt so grateful to have some truly wonderful people around me to help out when we need.
Something I truly never gave myself permission to do before, ask for help.
It’s been something I’ve allowed myself to do more recently and know that ultimately we can’t do it all and that’s why we have beautiful people around us to support us if we need. It does not make us less than to ask for help in fact it’s a more courageous act to realise when you can’t do it all.
So this week I had to act in that courageous way on a few occasions. 🥰

It was a week if maintaining balance during the business and taking those moments we discuss so much on our mat to check in and enjoy life instead of getting swept up in the hustle and bustle.
Just my little experience this week of taking my lessons of yoga off the mat and into life 🥰

To finish it all off we’ll be celebrating a milestone on Sunday with our littlest munchkin turning 5 🥰

It’s been a wonderful week even through the business and wonderful first term for our goulburn west class and so wonderful to be with you all.
We shall be back for our slow flow class on Thursday 28th April

Today was spent filling my cup 🥰
Spending time by myself around things that make your heart come alive.
For me spending time around art, nature , propping myself up against a tree with a good book in hand.
All things to help me come back to myself.

There have a been a few times this week where my mind has been feeling foggy, doubtful and sometimes had a excess of worry and I started to have a little check in as to the changes in my week and reasons why this had come about.
Nothing had changed in my routine, nothing stressful had happened to make me feel off balance but I noticed the changes of the seasons.
How often do you wake up on a cloudy day and feel your mood effected?
Nature plays a part in our emotions.
In this particular period in the seasons we’re in a state of transition.
Moving from summer into autumn and it’s not uncommon to have the feelings that I’ve been experiencing this week.
This is a time to feel back into the earth
Find things especially that bring you a sense of grounding, comfort, stability.
For me it’s been a chance to find some stillness.
Enjoy the silence, read, move, check in with what brings me joy.
If you’ve been feeling this way this week.
Go and do something for you today guys.

Hi lovelies 🧡

There’s a beautiful part of our Yin practice I’ve been leaning into more and more not only on the mat but in life at the moment which I wanted to share with you.

Feeling the rebound

This is a stage throughout our Yin practice in which we allow ourselves to digest a pose bringing ourselves back onto our backs in pentacle ( or savasana) and allow ourselves to let the blood and energy we created to flow and be felt.
Such a beautiful concept that I’ve been taking out into the world.
So much of our lives we go from task to task, moving through different milestones and don’t give ourselves the opportunity to digest our experiences.
The wonderful moments get glossed over and our achievements get missed.
Feeling the rebound for just a minute before moving onto the next task or moment gives you a chance to raise your vibration.
The way you see yourself, starting to note more and more how your day actually went and remembering more of the good and not letting those negative moments to cloud the rest.

We’ll be enjoying this more in our Yin class tonight 5:30pm

Hello lovelies
My goodness how time is flying getting so excited to be heading back into more group classes for 2022 and have
Some incredibly exciting things happening in term 1 (beginning in February) that I can’t wait to share with you all.

I shall be sharing some lovely classes with the beautiful community at Life Yoga Goulburn] with some offering for our kids and teens
Two courses for 8 weeks

•kids 5-10yr olds (beginning Tuesday 8th feb) 4pm
This course we’ll be enjoying the benefits of leaning meditation and mindfulness
Giving our youngsters a chance to start implementing this wonderful tool and learn and find tools to help them during times of stress

• Tweens 11-14year olds (beginning Wednesday 9th February) 4pm
In this course we’ll start to learn how yoga can help us during stressful and overwhelming times and what we can do for ourselves in order to create more calm and balance
I’m this course our kiddies will leave feeling empowered to be able to tackle moments of stress to know what they can do to help.

Lastly I shall be sharing some wonderful

• Yin Wednesday 5:30pm which is such a wonderful class to allow yourself to rest and restore.

Hi lovelies I wanted to take this moment to talk a little bit on how our yoga practice can help off the mat.
Most of us in our lives at some point or another have felt that feeling of being overwhelmed. The tendency where life has gotten away from us and one of the biggest things that shifts when starting a yoga practice is finding presence
The ability to be in the here and now.

Not only like our physical practice it’s like a muscle that needs to be tended to, given a chance to be made stronger and adjust when we need to feel more supported.
The more and more presence we give to our selves and our emotions to more you’ll start to see the way you process life in a different way

Coming to your mat and allowing time for your mind to sit and give your emotions a space for you to unwind, process and find compassion.

Instead of continuing to power through taking the opportunity to sit and acknowledge how we’re feeling the same way we’d acknowledge an injury being felt them to not pile up giving them compassion and acknowledging the feelings we’ve felt on a daily basis.

Allowing ourselves to be completely support in its entirety and not just on the physical level.
