Term 2 Calisthenics starts tomorrow 🤸‍♀️

Enrolments are now open for Kids & Teens Calisthenics at Vivid Movement.

📍These classes are located at The Diamond Martial Arts Gym
Shed 1 / 32 Mulgi Drive South Grafton

These two legends are 11/12 and working on one handed handstands, a perfect example of what consistency, strength, and confidence can build over time 💪

Classes focus on:
• Strength & body control
• Flexibility & mobility
• Gymnastic style skills (handstands, balances, progressions)
• Confidence, focus & resilience

Whether your child is a complete beginner or already loves movement, there’s a place for them to grow and progress at their own pace.

Tuesday Class times:
Kids: 4:00 – 4:45pm
Teens: 4:45 – 5:30pm

Slow Flow Yoga (Beginner Friendly Classes)🧘🏽‍♀️

A space to move, breathe, and reconnect with your body at your own pace.

This class is slower and more intentional, each pose is broken down step by step with a focus on alignment, control, and awareness. We also explore different yoga breath techniques.

We spend more time in each posture, so you can actually feel what’s happening in your body.

There’s also less up and down off the floor, making it more accessible if you’re newer to yoga, working with injuries, or just want a gentler pace.

A good friend of mine is currently raising money to help send children in India to school, giving them access to education, structure, and opportunity.

When you see the breakdown, it’s pretty powerful…

$2,089 = a full year of school for one child
$1,001 = junior school support

It really puts into perspective how much of a difference even a small contribution can make to one childs life.

Yoga is something many of us practise and benefit from every day.
Its roots and teachings are in India, and this felt like a meaningful way to give something back and a cause I strongly support.

Liam putting in some serious work on one of the most demanding ring strength elements; the crucifix hold.

This position demands:
• Huge shoulder stability
• Full body tension
• Strong scapular depression
• Massive control through the elbows and biceps

The key to unlocking this advanced element is about locking in a solid, stable hang first. This sets the shoulders, stacks the lats, and creates the tension needed to protect the joints.

From there, Liam practiced slowly releasing into the crucifix line controlling the rings outward, keeping the elbows long, and maintaining full body tension.

Great strength, trust and teamwork today in the girls calisthenics class! Amazing efforts all around.
