Super thankful to have escaped the damage done to SEQ yesterday. Only the basil broke so I guess it's pesto time.

Damaged plants can be given a dose of arnica in their water to help them recover.

Humans struggling with overwhelm and loss, try ignatia and for fear during the storms, try aconite.

Even the most mainstream of TV chat shows features a piece discussing how strict, authoritarian parenting lacking real connections or empathy damages children's emotional development.

Encouraging healthy connection and showing unconditional love (with boundaries of course) results in less mental health issues as adults.

It is wonderful how much parenting has changed to respect and value our children and their feelings.

A very interesting 60 minutes on attachment parenting and the science that supports it as a healthy way to bond with your child.
Mainstream parenting has been completely turned on its head in just one generation. Children who feel completely safe with their caregivers learn empathy, love, and are more confident in their relationships and exploration of the world.

Plastic packaging was introduced into mainstream food chains here in the 1970s when these now adults were born and plastic toxicity is the main focus of this program along with the changes in human microbiomes in the last 50 years.

With the socials full of worried parents of sick kids, bursting emergency departments in the hospitals and nearly half of my kids' school away sick today, it's definitely time for a Flu and Fever post.
