This month felt like being in a washing machine.

This is the energy of Gate 25.

Everyone has a different capacity.
And when you expect more from someone than they’re able to give…
that’s where the hurt comes from.

Not because they’re wrong.
But because you’re expecting them to meet you somewhere they can’t.

People can only meet you at their level —
emotionally, mentally, and energetically.

This is where acceptance comes in.

Not settling…
but seeing clearly.

Because clarity removes unnecessary pain.

Ever felt like your emotions are in the spin cycle?

Right now the emotional energy in the collective is amplified, and you might notice stronger waves, unexpected feelings, or moments where you feel completely washed out.

Tonight I’m feeling deeply grateful for this little patch of the world we call home for the open doors, the laughter of costumed children, the lights on our porches, the simple act of candy handed out in connection.

In the spirit of Gate 28, I acknowledge that this is not just “fun” it’s meaningful. It’s us choosing to show up, to risk opening our homes, windows, hearts, to each other; to say yes to community over isolation. Gate 28 asks: “What is worth the risk? What is worth our energy?” Tonight I say: This is.

Thank you to every household lighting a path for our children, for inviting them out into the street, letting them meet neighbours, feel seen. Thank you for giving the next generation space to feel rooted, connected, alive.

May we keep remembering that connection is worth the leap and may we keep choosing experiences that matter, hearts that open, and paths that bring us together.
