Most people think pain means “tight muscles” or “weak glutes”…
but if your body is out of line, you keep training the wrong pattern over and over — and that equals pain.

Fiona’s first deadlift! 💪

The deadlift is one of the most effective exercises for building strength from head to toe. It primarily targets your glutes, hamstrings, quadriceps, core, traps, and spinal erectors, while also engaging your grip and stabiliser muscles.

Deadlifts can also help correct common postural issues such as:
✅ Rounded shoulders
✅ Anterior pelvic tilt
✅ Weak posterior chain (glutes & hamstrings)

This exercise is a fantastic way to strengthen your body, improve posture, and reduce pain when performed with proper form.

🌄 Climbing Mountains On & Off the Trail

Yesterday I tackled Sublime Point again — 1000 steps, 700m elevation.
Last time: 46 mins ⏱️
This time: 39 mins ⏱️
That’s about a 15% improvement — a huge win 🙌

I put this progress down to my lifestyle and consistent training in the gym. Every mountain I climb builds not only my physical fitness but also my resilience in everyday life.

For me, hiking is a reminder that every challenge is just like climbing a mountain:

It feels tough at first

With effort, you keep moving forward

And eventually, you reach the top — faster, stronger, and with more ease than before.

The view at the summit is always the reward 🌿✨ A chance to soak in the energy, breathe deep, and be grateful.
