Our Term 2 groups are here 🧡

A little bit of fun.
A little bit of learning.
A little bit of skill building.
And ideally, nobody realising how much therapeutic goodness is actually happening.

Our groups are a great way to support kids, teens & adults to build confidence, connection, communication, regulation, and participation — all in a way that feels much more like joining in than doing therapy.

Because sometimes the best work happens when they’re having fun, feeling safe, and don’t even realise we’re sneaking skill development in through the side door.

If your school mornings sometimes feel like a low-budget action film… you are not alone 😮‍💨

Lost shoes.
Wrong socks.
Someone’s hungry after refusing breakfast.
Someone else remembers a project approximately 3 minutes before leaving.
And somehow everyone is meant to be calm, regulated, and out the door on time.

If mornings feel a bit chaotic at your place, that does not mean you’re failing — it means school mornings are a lot, and many kids need extra support with transitions, attention, regulation, and getting going.

A few things that can help:
✨ keep the routine in the same order
✨ prep what you can the night before
✨ use visuals instead of repeating yourself 47 times
✨ focus on one step at a time
✨ remember: calmer usually works better than louder

No one is handing out awards for perfect mornings. A “we made it out the door” morning absolutely counts. 🧡

We’re back for Term 2! 🧡🏡

After a break over the school holidays, The Place team is back and ready to go. We’re looking forward to seeing our families again and jumping into another term of support, connection, and growth.

We can’t wait to get started again tomorrow and continue doing what we love most — walking alongside people with practical, neuroaffirming support. 🌿

15/03/2026

We love our space at The Place… and we wanted you to enjoy it too.

From the beginning, we’ve watched so many kids walk through our doors — climbing, creating, playing, building confidence and friendships.

And we kept thinking…

This would make a pretty special place to celebrate too.

Not the kind of party where kids are expected to sit still or fit into a “one size fits all” party.

But the kind where kids can move, explore, create and celebrate in their own way.

So we created Party + Play at The Place.

Kids parties, done different.

Because we understand different.
Because we are different.

🎈 A space designed for play and movement
🎨 Creative activities and craft options
🌈 Inclusive celebrations where every child belongs
✨ Optional extra sparkle add-ons to make the day special

Most importantly, it’s a place where accommodations and inclusions are a given, and differences are celebrated.

Our parties are therapist-designed and run by trained facilitators, so kids can feel comfortable, supported and free to be themselves.

Because at The Place we believe:
Kids can be kids.
Inclusion is cool.
And celebrations should feel good for everyone.

🎉 Bookings are now open.

Where memories are made.

The best celebrations are the ones where every child feels welcome, included, and part of the fun.

Big announcement coming Monday… 🎉

Where inclusion is cool.

Inclusion isn’t just something we talk about.
It’s something we create.

We’ve been building something behind the scenes… and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Stay tuned. ✨

Where kids can be kids.

At The Place, we believe kids deserve spaces where they can play, explore, and celebrate in their own way.

Something special is coming soon… 👀

At The Place, inclusion sits at the heart of everything we do.

Our next big project?

It’s all about inclusion — in the most fun way possible.

We’ve been building something special behind the scenes…

Stay tuned for our big announcement.
