Another resignation this time it’s the AHC Chair who is also calling for the self appointed President, to resign. This action affirms the broader h**p industry calling for the AHC to wind up completely, and has subsequently resulted in the resignation of the AHC President.

The flap involves changes in the constitution of the national group that were approved during the organization's general meeting in October.

Here are some Fun facts about Cotton v’s H**p!
In 2022/23, the Australian cotton industry received a total of $8 billion in government assistance, a 66% increase from the $4.8 billion in 2021/22, which included transportation subsidies of $185 million.
If we removed all restrictions on h**p and legalised cannabis- we could conservatively - match the Cotton export revenue in 2 years!
According to Cotton Australia web site:
Over a five-year average, the Australian cotton crop was worth AUD $2 billion annually (and up to $3 billion in a good year). https://lnkd.in/geC5ijeg

The Parliamentary Budget Office 2023 report projected a revenue uplift of over 3 billion in the first year of legalising cannabis alone!!
