Today is World Down Syndrome Day 💚

The theme this year is 'Together Against Loneliness'. This is something that falls at the centre of the work we do at Happi Living.

Loneliness happens when people are left out of classrooms, workplaces, and community life. When they're present, but not truly included. At Happi Living, we believe in the power of community and supporting our community to build lives full of purpose, connection, and genuine belonging, because we believe every person deserves the opportunity to thrive.

Stella is living proof of what can be achieved when we work together and provide support. She recently graduated from TAFE with her Certificate in Work Education and we could not be more proud! Her achievement is what real inclusion looks like. Not just being supported, but being empowered.

We are so incredibly proud of Hilary, who has been absolutely smashing the Starlight Super Swim this February! With only 1km and 3 days to go Hilary has nearly reached her goal of swimming 15km to raise vital funds for seriously ill kids!

The Starlight Children's Foundation does the most incredible work bringing joy and relief to children and families going through some of the toughest times imaginable, and Hilary has been out here putting in lap after lap to make a difference!

We’re down at Wentworth Park today from 11–1 hosting our Happi Living Community BBQ and would love to see some familiar (and new!) faces.
