On Saturday night, Stella was an MC and performer at Down Syndrome Tasmania’s first ever Spring Fling Fundraiser at Moonah Arts Centre! Hilary went along to watch and couldn’t resist hitting the dance floor with her. 💃🌸

Down Syndrome Tasmania hosted a wonderful evening filled with incredible performances from BrightStars, Second Echo Ensemble, and puppeteer Jem Nicholas, along with delicious catering by Hamlet Hobart and upbeat tunes from DJ Track and Field. 🎶

There was a raffle, silent auction, and beautiful artwork on display.

Huge thanks and congratulations to Down Syndrome Tasmania for an incredible evening celebrating inclusion, creativity and community! 💖

🏈 NFL Flag Nationals Recap 2025 🏈

Year three of coaching alongside Tania McNear and what a journey it’s been. 💚

Each year, we’ve had a completely new group of players, and every single time they continue to amaze us. This year’s team only started training seven months ago, learning a brand new sport from scratch. After competing and winning the Tasmanian tournaments, they went on to represent Tasmania at the NFL Flag Nationals in Queensland last Friday, finishing 4th in all of Australia! 🇦🇺

Our Tassie team went undefeated through the group stage with a 4–0 record, only falling in the finals to the team that went on to win the entire competition. To say that’s an incredible achievement would be an understatement!

What stood out most to me wasn’t just their talent on the field, but the way they carried themselves off it, the laughter, the friendships, and the way they supported each other every step of the way. They represented their state with pride and gave everything they had right until the final whistle.

It has been an honour to coach this incredible group and I couldnt be prouder. Watching them grow together, develop their skills and build memories that will stick with them for life has been something truly special. 💚

This is Aarish. 💚

For those who don’t know, Aarish is the reason Happi Living even exists. He was our very first client and the reason I decided to build this company in the first place.

From the very beginning, Aarish has been a reminder of what truly matters. His strength, his laughter, and his ability to find joy in every single day have shaped what Happi Living stands for. In just a few short years, Happi Living has grown from supporting one amazing young boy to helping a whole community of incredible people and families, and it all started with him.

But more than anything, I’m grateful for the perspective Aarish has given me. Despite facing challenges that most of us could never imagine, he shows up every single day with a smile on his face and laughter that fills the room. His positivity, strength, and pure joy remind me to slow down, be present and find light in even the toughest moments.

Watching Aarish grow up has been one of the biggest privileges of my life. He’s taught me more about happiness and resilience than I could ever put into words. I carry those lessons with me every single day.

Let this post be a reminder to slow down, appreciate the simple moments, and cherish the people who make life brighter. 💚

This September, our very own Hilary Nelson has been taking part in the Big Walk for Little Kids – walking 100km to raise funds for Camp Quality. 👣✨

Every single day, 2 Australian families are given the heartbreaking news that their child has cancer. Camp Quality works to bring laughter, positivity, and support to kids and families facing that battle. By walking 100km, Hilary is helping raise money to fund programs and services that give children and families the break from cancer they so urgently need 💚

So far, Hilary has already ticked off 42km on her journey and is well on her way to reaching her 100km goal! 🙌

Hilary has also dedicated her walk to George – a beautiful boy whose strength, smile, and spirit continue to inspire everyone who knew him. This walk is for George, and for all the little kids who deserve more laughter, more joy, and more childhood. Team George 💜

What a day for this Howrah Primary School crew! Co-coaching with Tania McNear has been such a privilege, and together we’ve watched this group show nothing but commitment, teamwork and determination from the very first training session to game day.

This group has worked incredibly hard over the past few months preparing for the Tasmania NFL Flag tournament — and today, all that effort paid off. They were crowned champions and will now represent Tassie at the Australian NFL Flag Nationals in QLD this October 🏆🇦🇺

So proud of the way they’ve trained, supported each other and risen to every challenge. Bring on Nationals! 💚

We’re hosting a free Happi Living Footy Clinic this Saturday at ANZAC Park, kicking off at 11:30am.

A few of the senior players from Lindisfarne Football Club are jumping in to help run some fun games and footy drills for the kids — open to all skill levels!

No need to register, just rock up and get involved.
