Thyme CT thymol EO, its nano-form, and its nano-form with silver nanoparticles demonstrated acaricidal activity against the brown dog tick (Rhipicephalus sanguineus). The nanoform, silver nanoparticles, and nano-form with silver nanoparticles were the most effective, with the combined nano-form and silver nanoparticles being the most effective at killing ticks.
