That’s a wrap on The Block 2025 ✨

Our very first Block experience and what a journey it has been. We’re beyond proud of what we delivered and couldn’t have worked alongside two better blokes. We fell in love with them just like the rest of Australia did.

From long days on site to late nights under pressure, our Winstar team and all the incredible trades gave it everything. Along the way we met some amazing people and built genuine friendships, looking at you, G-Mac 👊

While auction night didn’t bring the happy ending the contestants deserved, we hope you enjoyed following the wild ride as much as we did.

A special mention goes to our number one man on the ground, Dave. He delivered winning rooms, kept everything running smoothly (even organised haircuts mid-build 💇‍♂️), and did it all with a smile. Sadly, Dave stepped away in week 10 after his wife Carly was diagnosed with leukemia. Carly recently lost her battle, and our thoughts remain with Dave, his son Gene and their families during this incredibly tough time ❤️

We love you mate, and we couldn’t have done this without you.

From a bold vision on day 1 to reality in week 10 – Robby’s idea for the cellar finally came to life. This week was a mammoth push: on Friday morning the staircase didn’t even have a roof, and by Sunday we’d delivered an entire extra space compared to the other teams.

We’re beyond proud to have been part of a perfect 30/30 score 🙌 Huge thanks to for bringing the cellar joinery and BBQ cabinetry to life.

A water leak in the wet areas caused severe footing movement which lead to re-stumping works to be completed. Sounds simple enough, in reality this meant an absolute power of work - this was a huge task for the Horsham team who did an outstanding job.

When your wall frames are delayed by two days, it’s not the best way to kick things off. Add in the Domain challenge pulling resources from these rooms, and you’ve got yourself an uphill battle from the start.

The bedroom? Completed and a huge success 👏 The bathroom? Let’s just say it left a little more to the imagination.

But if you’ve been following along, you’ll know at House 5 we don’t do drama. Matt and Robby stayed cool, calm, and collected, because when things don’t go our way, there’s no bitterness. Everyone’s giving it their all, every single step of the way.

The weeks are flying by now, final stretch, here we come! 🛠️

House 5 is serving up a 5-star kitchen this week!
If kitchens are what win The Block, House 5 might need to start building a bigger trophy cabinet.

That's win number 3 for the boys and it's no fluke. They didn't try to reinvent what a kitchen should be, they just delivered it properly.

This week wasn't about size, but about detail and House 5 nailed every inch of it.
