Presentation Day 🙌 A bit different this year but no less fun for the girls! We loved watching all the presentations live on Facebook! Congratulations to Madi who receives her participation trophy and her 5 year badge and to Matilda who was 2nd Age Champion, 100% attendance and also Most Improved ❤️ So proud of both the girls for their efforts and improvement over the season and grateful to the committee and parents who volunteered their time! We can’t wait for next year when we can do it all again (with our friends!) ❤️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️little.athletics @ Jimboomba, Queensland

A compilation of my lifts from the weekend at weightlifting Masters Championships/Oly in the Outback
Ended the comp with equal PRs on Sn**ch (45kg) Clean and Jerk (65kg) and Total (110kg) Pretty happy with that!
Lots of tech work still to do before we (hopefully 🤞) go to Cairns in June. 🏋️‍♀️

Such a proud day watching my eldest daughter compete in her first (and I’m betting not her last!) Crossfit comp on the weekend! She made my heart so warm with her grit and resilience. There were 4 tough workouts, girls up to 3 years older than her (she isn’t even old enough to be in the 10-12 years division!) and it was hot! 🥵
She held her own all day in front of a crowd of other athletes and parents and was just so excited to be there! She ended up 9th out of 9 (which I expected) but she wasn’t that far behind and even came 5th in one of the WODs!! 🙌
She’s had a taste and now she wants more - the competitive spirit is alive and well in this one!! 😁👍👏
We’ll definitely be back next year
