🌟Where Are they Now? Alex update straight from his owner✨

The Hall family in Toolamba happy adopted Alex in June this year. He quickly became a very well loved family member.

Alex is paddock buddies with our daughters thoroughbred Frankie, but most importantly enjoys regular rides with our 5 year old George.

Alex is a very well mannered and patient little guy.

Today he visited Toolamba kindergarten for a little pat with the students and talk of how to be safe around horses. He was very well behaved.

He regularly sees the farrier and has had a recent dentist checkup, who said he had a very healthy mouthful of choppers.

Thank you for trusting Alex with us, we love him!

Gem had a bit of bad luck recently when a storm rolled in and she panicked, crashing through a gate. Thankfully, she only came away with some bruising to her back legs and a little hair missing on her chest 💛

The progress she’d made with feeling comfortable around straps and rugs has gone a little backwards, but even on a hard day, she was able to learn something new, getting to know what a fly veil is!

It was a steady, gentle process, but we got there. 🌿
A lovely reminder that even when things feel tough, small steps forward still count. 🌤️

Gem has a beautiful way of gently challenging and inspiring new ways of thinking. 💛🐴
There’s so much we can learn and take away from our interactions with horses, they truly are incredible teachers. 🐎✨

Gem’s Progress 🐴💛
Gem’s journey has had its ups and downs lately, especially with her catching progress taking a few steps backwards which is usually apart of progress.

I decided to simply spend some quiet time with her, just hanging out in the paddock while she ate, surrounded by plenty of grass. It wasn’t about doing or asking anything, just being together in the moment.

Sometimes, the most meaningful progress happens in those calm, non-demanding moments of just being.

Heli and Copter are officially big kids! 🎉
No more bottle, they now prefer the all-you-can-eat lamb pellet buffet 😋 Officially weaned and feeling very independent!

💦 Where Are They Now? Billy & Rain Update 💦

Our lovely duo Billy and Rain are living their best lives! 🐴💛
They enjoy heading out for walks together and love nothing more than splashing about in their water trough, especially on warm days! ☀️💧

These two have built a beautiful connection and sense of trust with their neighbour, who kindly lends a hand when extra support is needed. ❤️

It’s wonderful to see them reunited with each other after Billy graduated Horses for Hope before Rain was ready and they are both enjoying life with less fear and concern of the world. 🌿✨

✨ Where Are They Now? Phoenix Update ✨

Remember Phoenix from Horses for Hope? 💛
He’s now settling beautifully into his new chapter! Phoenix’s mum is getting to know the “new” Phoenix that returned, calmer and full of character. 🐴

He’s absolutely loving his new life, spending his days with his two buddies and soaking up all the love and attention. 🌿💫

We couldn’t be happier to see him thriving!

Who remembers this familiar face? 🐴
Simon was part of the program for many years at Horses for Hope and even graduated! 💫

As you all are probably aware progress isn’t always linear, especially when trauma is involved. It doesn’t always disappear, but with time, care, and connection, it can fade. Sometimes we just need a little refresher or reminder from time to time 💛

Simon is back for a short stay and is loving catching up with some old friends, Breeze and Peanut, and meeting a new face, Gem. 🐴✨

Our school holiday lamb feeding sessions were filled with laughter, cuddles, and happy hearts. It was wonderful to see families connecting and sharing the joy that comes from spending time with animals. 🌸🐑 Heli and Copter are growing so fast and are now enjoying chomping on some grass.

🚨 Name reveal time! 🚨
Our twin lambs are over 2 weeks old and finally have names… introducing Heli and Copter 🐑🐑💛

Why? Well… my husband just got his helicopter pilot licence 🚁 so we thought it was only fitting that these two take off with names to match!

Now the paddock has officially cleared for take-off 🛫🐑😂
