Jellyfish breathing 🪼

We made these 'jellyfish' to support:
✨️Deep breathing
✨️Regulation
✨️Fine motor skills

Harlem is, as always, our test driver and gave this activity a big tick of approval (although I believe his official title is Head of Quality Control and Creative Direction).

These are heading into centres as part of our Preschool Boost Menu offering. We’re SO thrilled to be delivering group therapy in care environments — increasing access for children who may not otherwise receive allied health support.

We're already having some great reflective conversations with educators about regulation and how these strategies can be embedded into everyday routines.

If you’d love the Connect.Ed allied health team in your centre, tag your service below or send us a message — we’d love to chat! 🤎

🌱 Did you know that play develops in stages?

Understanding where a child is at helps us meet them right where they are.

Children don’t “grow out” of earlier stages—they build on them.

When we support children at their current stage, we help them grow in confidence, connection and communication.

🧠 At Connect.Ed, we use play-based approaches to build skills in a way that feels safe and natural for children.

📞 Want to learn more about how we can support your child through play?
Reach out via 08 8102 0930 or admin@connecteducation.info – we’d love to hear from you.

As we wrap up for the year, we want to wish all our children, families, and colleagues a safe and happy break.

It’s not lost on us what a privilege it is to walk alongside children and families, and we’re deeply grateful for the trust you place in us. Thank you for being part of our journey in 2025.

As we look ahead to 2026, we’re excited to share that a new group of practitioners has joined the Connect.Ed team, which means we now have capacity to provide support across Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Psychosocial Therapy and Developmental Education.

If you’re interested in securing a spot or learning more, please feel free to reach out, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

We’re looking forward to reconnecting and supporting you again in 2026.

Take care,
The Connect.Ed Team 🤎

This week, we welcomed a new group of Allied Health Practitioners to our multidisciplinary Early Intervention team at Connect.Ed.

We’re growing in response to the continued demand for 1:1 outreach therapy … and because we’re thrilled to now offer Allied Health Early Intervention Support (including group therapy and educator capacity building) for early childhood services via the Preschool Boost Menu.

Our new Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists brought such a delightfully excited energy as they packed their mobile therapy kits — a favourite Connect.Ed induction moment 💼✨

We can’t wait to see the impact they’ll have for children, families, and educators across South Australia.

Progress is not linear — and that’s okay!

Some weeks feel smooth. Others feel messy, tangled ... or like we’re going backwards. But that’s part of growth.

🤎 Regulation takes practice.
🤎 Learning takes repetition.
🤎 Healing takes time.

It doesn’t mean your child isn’t progressing — it just means they’re human.

Keep showing up. Keep connecting. Keep going. We’re here to support you 🫶🏾

🚌 No Travel, No Stress – We Come to You!

Getting to appointments can be a barrier for families. And that’s why we bring therapy to you!

We work with:
🏠 families at home
🧒 early learning centres
🏫 schools
🧑‍⚕️ other professionals involved in your child’s care

This allows us to:
🔹 provide support where it's needed most
🔹 collaborate with caregivers and educators
🔹 reduce disruption to the child’s day

Our outreach model is flexible, inclusive and trauma-informed. It’s how we ensure children get the support they need—without the added stress.

📞 Curious about how our outreach model could work for your family or service? Reach out to us on 08 8102 0930 or admin@connecteducation.info – we’re here to help!

If a child is struggling to listen, follow instructions or engage, they’re not being “difficult.” They're likely dysregulated.

💥 Big feelings, noisy environments, transitions or unmet needs can all lead to dysregulation.

🧘‍♀️ What helps? Co-regulation! Calm, connected adults who help children return to a sense of safety.

We support children to understand and express their big feelings—and we work with caregivers and educators to build strategies that work.

📞 Want to explore how we can support emotional regulation in your early childhood setting or family? Reach out via 08 8102 0930 or admin@connecteducation.info
