🎨 Art Class, Chats, Cuppas & Cats 🐾

What do you get when you mix creativity, community, caffeine… and a cat?

A pretty great Wednesday, if you ask us.
Our fortnightly sessions (12:30–3:30pm) are designed to be a relaxed, inclusive space where people can come together, try something new, build confidence, and enjoy genuine connection.

There’s no pressure to be perfect—just encouragement to have a go, share a laugh, and enjoy the moment.

From painting and drawing to simply sitting back with a cuppa and a chat, everyone participates in their own way—and that’s exactly how we like it.

And of course, there’s Oscar—our unofficial supervisor, morale booster, and Chief Distraction Officer 🐱 He’s always nearby to offer support (or demand attention) and somehow manages to be everyone’s favourite part of the day.

Being a carer is incredibly rewarding - but it can also be exhausting. Many carers experience burnout without even realising it.

Signs of carer burnout can include:

• Feeling drained or tired all the time
• Irritability and increased frustration
• Loss of interest in activities
• Ignoring personal health and wellbeing
• Trouble concentrating
• Detachment and isolation
• Feeling guilty
• Physical symptoms like headaches or trouble sleeping

At CareCo Services, we understand the emotional and physical demands of caring for others.

It’s okay to ask for help and take steps to look after your own wellbeing.If you’re a carer and notice these signs, reach out - support is available.

🧡 Harmony Week 2026 🧡

At CareCo Services, diversity is just part of who we are—it’s been built in from the very beginning.

Our founder made the move from Ireland to Australia (and still helps others do the same!), so supporting people from all walks of life has always been at the heart of what we do.

Our team is a mix of different backgrounds, experiences, and ways of thinking—including a few neuro-spicy brains—which is exactly what helps us come up with creative, real-world solutions for the people we support.
