This is Continuity of Midwifery Care at Home, this is Physiological Labour, surrounded by Natural Oxytocin, in Beautiful Surroundings…..and, with Fantastic Birth Support too ✨🤩♥️.

This is Being Reunited with this Beautiful Family, for their Journey to becoming a Family of 4 Soon, having cared for them all in 2022 & 2023. How Special is this?! My heart is full…..💜.

In exploring research (and in considering our statistics, year on year), it shows that home-based care, where we support normal physiology, leads to better outcomes & an enhanced postpartum.

…..and, we make the most magical memories along the way too 🫶🏻.

✨The Nesting Hub Wrapped for 2025✨

It has been a BIG YEAR for The Nesting Hub 🤩!!! ….for Us Midwives, for Our Nesting Hub Team & for ALL of the Beautiful Women, Couples & Families that we have journeyed along-side ✨♥️.

Enjoy flicking through our 2025 Stats 🔍👀, showcasing that Continuity of Midwifery Care with us throughout pregnancy, labour, birth (mostly at home) and then on into the postpartum is a worthwhile & safe consideration 💜.

Additional Stats for This Year:

✨ 100% Physiological 3rd Stage for those who birthed at home!
✨ 12% of Babies were Born on the Full Moon (2.5 times more than last year!)
✨ 10% of Babies were Born on the New Moon (2 times more than last year)
✨ 1/3 of Babies were Born on the Waxing Gibbous Moon Phase 🤩.
✨ We had a 0% Neonatal Transfer Rate All Year!!
✨ We have had one baby born en caul (in the amniotic sack) 🥹🥰✨.
And…..we had a 0% post-partum transfer All Year too!!!! 🙌🏻🤩.

This highlights that Physiological Labour & Birth at Home is Safe for Most. Informing others of this is what we will continue to do heading into the future, and I am truly grateful to our AMAZING Midwives Emma & Kate who have provided safe, effective, evidence-based care along-side me this year. Thank YOU 🙌🏻🤩✨💜💜.

We are so excited to see what 2026 has in store…and, from the bottom of our hearts, we Thank YOU for choosing us Nesting Hub Families.

New for 2026, we have WONDERFUL Midwife Lena joining our Team 🤩 - Welcome Lena 💜 and we have LOVELY Midwife Mathilde from .midwifery as an affiliate to us, with many beautiful offerings too 💜. So, keep a look out for our posts & service offerings expanding as we move into 2026.

How lucky are we to have one another?! Teamwork, Collaboration & Togetherness is ‘Where It’s At’ 🤩✨💜 (I think).

Emma, it has been a Phenomenal 2025 with You as a Nesting Hub Homebirth & Continuity of Care Midwife, and to see your Education & Acuneedling Business The Wandering Midwives grow so much as it has this year, just makes my heart sing.

…..it is So Wonderful to see you back in Sydney this festive season!! Your reunion with Daughter Emma and our reminiscing of time spent together as birth workers earlier this year was Really Fantastic too!! Your Doula work & friendship are very much appreciated.

We have so much love for the beautiful women, couples & families we journey along-side in Continuity and Homebirthing. This family have invited us to care for them twice over, and we are beyond happy for them all ♥️.

Due to changes in circumstance (with a relocation), this family were cared for by our Beautiful Midwife Emma this time, and collectively by ALL of our Nesting Hub Midwives across the last two labour & births. This was a 1st for Us!! The family’s feedback is that they LOVED this, and that makes our hearts sing 🎶♥️.

Thank You Everyone, and Lots of Love to You All, as you embark on this new chapter as a Family of 6 ✨♥️.

Our broken hearts are with the Jewish Community and with those in & around Bondi at this devastating time 💔🖤.

We think of and we send love to those who mourn, to those who were injured, to the community & first responders who risked their lives, to those who saw unthinkable tragedy unfold, and to those who’s lives have changed unrecognisably following this devastating & incomprehensible act. There are just no words…..💔.

Hundreds of people were gathered at Bondi Beach in Sydney, to celebrate the first day of the Jewish Festival Hanukkah. What should have been a happy community event, with special togetherness turned into heartbreaking tragedy, and we are beyond devastated for everyone involved 💔🖤.

Our arms & love surround you all at this heartbreaking time, and please know that whatever comes, we are there for you ✨🫶🏻.

We all deserve to live in peace & safety, and together, we stand 💜.

I am filled with such love & gratitude for Kate, Emma and Gary, as….without them & their hard work, dedication, love, support & care this year (and since The Nesting Hub began), it and I would not be where we are today. So, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you for working along-side me. I am filled with deep gratitude for the Phenomenal work that you do for us, and for each of our beautiful clients too✨💜.

Thank you for the heartfelt, generous Christmas Gifts, for your Special Friendship & for being 24/7 on-call throughout this chapter of life together ♥️. The work that we do pulls us in so many different directions. ✨Our Final Nesting Hub Morning Tea for 2025✨

It was SO GREAT to see so many of our Nesting Hub Clients & their Families join us for our final Nesting Hub Morning Tea for 2025 🤩♥️. Despite our 40 Degree Day on Saturday, we had our biggest group of beautiful women, couples & families join us, and that made our hearts sing 🎶💜.

Thank You for The Loveliest Time Together EVERYONE & Thank You for the Beautiful Gifts that You surprised us with 🥹♥️.

It was a REALLY GREAT Day!!!!! 🤩

We are feeling So Grateful for the AMAZING Midwives in our Team, for the PHENOMENAL Families we journey along-side, and we feel blessed for the Beautiful Community that has evolved since The Nesting Hub was created in 2021.

For 2026 & beyond we have Midwife Lena joining us as part of our team, and it was so wonderful for Kate, Emma & I to catch up with Lena, James & their Beautiful Boy Noah yesterday too.

We hope that you all have a safe & enjoyable festive season, and we look forward to what lies ahead together, as we prepare for what 2026 has in store.

It warms our hearts when little ones are keen to get involved in our antenatal visits ♥️. We have so much fun together, and with their participation, it can help to form and strengthen the bond that exists between them and their little Sister or Brother.

This little one is a Nesting Hub Bub himself, and he has so much love for his Mummy Vee, Daddy Shaun & for his baby Sister or Brother, who’s coming earth-side in 2026 too.

Thank you so much for inviting me into your home & into your lives twice over ☺️. Our journey together, and the memories that we have made along the way, will stay with me always 🤩♥️.

We are so delighted to welcome PHENOMENAL Endorsed Midwife Lena as part of our team, and for us to be able to offer Continuity of Midwifery Care to more women, couples & families in and around Sydney too.

Midwife Lena

I am an Endorsed Midwife with a heart for supporting women to embrace their inner power and be at the centre of their journey through pregnancy, birth, and beyond. I believe that all women deserve compassionate and respectful care that is holistic and wrapped around them. I strive to support women to be empowered to make informed choices. I am passionate about physiological birth, breastfeeding, neurodevelopmental newborn care, and encouraging you to follow your intuition and work with your body’s perfectly designed physiology.

Based out of Sydney’s Inner West, I offer antenatal and postnatal care, with tailored care packages, including shared care options with your GP, local hospital, or private obstetrician. I also offer private education classes for labour, birth, breastfeeding and preparing for parenthood. My professional experience spans continuity-of-care models, and supporting women across the entire spectrum of birth from physiological homebirths to navigating medical intervention and still achieving a positive birth (including through the Westmead Hospital public homebirth program). Having held several public hospital leadership roles, I have a deep understanding of how you can get the best experience out of a hospital birth too.

As a proud midwife, wife, and mother (to one human and one greyhound), I understand the transformative nature of birth and the transition into motherhood. In my own mothering journey, I had a magical labour at home, which resulted in an unexpected hospital transfer. Despite a birth that didn’t go as I hoped, my labour, birth, and postnatal journey remain the most powerful experiences of my life, by which I found my inner strength and wisdom. I am committed to seeing that every woman and family in my care are satisfied, empowered and ready to embrace their unique journey.

A beautiful & very dear friend, former midwifery colleague & bereaved Mum Hannah created following the devastating loss of her beloved daughter Olive in pregnancy.

As an avid lover of pottery, and with the most wonderful creative flair, Hannah, in the depth of her own grief created . Here, she makes & ships urns to those who have endured the unimaginable loss of their babies. How beautiful is this?! ✨🩷
