To work in a continuity of midwifery care model that allows each of us to provide home-based, individualised, client-centred respectful care throughout pregnancy, labour, birth & postpartum is The Absolute BEST! …..and, with each of us Nesting Hub Midwives being Endorsed Midwives, who work together often, our clients report feeling held, supported, empowered and cared for….., as their journey ahead unfolds.

We as a team catch up often to share, to reflect, to review, to educate & discuss…..and, in labour & birth, we support one another, in caring for our very special Nesting Hub Families ✨🫶🏻♥️.

For this month’s Nesting Hub Review we met in Gail & Gary’s new suburb of Willoughby, on the Nine by MIRVAC site where we’ll hold our next Nesting Hub Morning Tea - on Friday, 8th May.

…..and this week, we took the opportunity to grab some delicious lunch together at our local Kyue Japanese Restaurant too.

It was REALLY EXCITING to collect this FANTASTIC book from Hannah, today 🤩🫶🏻. Thanks so much Hannah (and Ben). This Wonderful Creation is by Ellie from & it’s called Flip Through My Flaps: An Exploration of The V***a. I bid on this item at ’s Silent Auction, that formed part of Hannah’s Launch Party, and I was fortunate enough to have the highest bid. As a Midwife, I am a Lover of Anatomy, particularly Female Anatomy & of the Reproductive System. The female / birthing person’s body is a thing of beauty & they should be proud of who they are, of the body they have and of the AMAZING people they are 🤩✨🫶🏻.

Flip Through My Flaps is a powerful exploration of v***a diversity, featuring the words and images of 500 incredible v***a owners. Created over seven years, this book celebrates the beauty of every v***a and it challenges the narrow standards that we’ve been taught to accept.

Connection, Celebration & Special Togetherness ✨🌷💜.

Kate, Emma (and of course Lena, who was unable to join us today)……, you are the most AMAZING group of women!!!! 🤩✨. You are so thoughtful, kind & generous…..and, I thank you for sharing this wonderful time together, and for my card, gift & flowers too.

Also, Restaurant in Mosman Spit / Moroccan and Spanish tapas….., you were the perfect spot for a beautiful midwives lunch together. Your food & drink were on point, your service was Fantastic and with the blue skies & sunshine, it was truly magical ☀️🌅✨.

Our Team had a Beautiful Evening with AMAZING Hannah, , her FANTASTIC Family & Team, our Wonderful Community from across the Northern Beaches and with FABULOUS MC , from the too ✨🫶🏻🕊️🦋♥️.

Hannah, your Launch Party, Silent Auction, Raffle & Celebration was AMAZING!!!! It showcased the Phenomenal Work that you have done (and are doing) for those who have sadly experienced Pregnancy & Infant Loss 💔. It was So Heartfelt & So, So Beautiful - Thank You ✨🫶🏻💜.

We stand with you, we grieve with you & we celebrate your phenomenal work with you 🌸. We, as The Nesting Hub midwives feel so proud to know & have worked along-side you & we are proud of the fantastic work that you & your team do, in creating & shipping free urns to those whose beloved babies pass away ✨💔.

It has been widely reported that continuity of midwifery care following pregnancy & infant loss can help grieving families in their journey forward. In offering within your Silent Auction, one full continuity of care experience, to one of the families whose paths you have crossed in this space, just makes our hearts sing 🎶 ♥️. Each of our Nesting Hub Families are given a little something from their Midwife…, and we just LOVE our new batch of Nesting Hub Vests.

Thank you so much to Daniel and his team at Advert Textile Printing in Brookvale for their REALLY FANTASTIC work. We enjoyed watching you print yesterday!!! We are also truly grateful to our Graphic Design & Branding creator Cerys, from 💫…., who also happens to be our Beautiful Daughter too 🫶🏻.
