Want to keep moving ?
According to a study @ The University if Western Australia
94% of Supervised exercises were still active after a 12month physical activity program compared to 31% of an unsupervised exercises interesting !
So to increase the probability of increasing adherence to exercise, Be Supervised, choose the right people (Thanks for being a good sport)

Want more calories Burnt?According to the College of Human Performance @ The University of Maryland, the answer is Simple, Strength Train (ST) x3 per wk. Their Study (2001) compared men's & women's resting metabolic rates (RMR) 24 hours after a ST session.
When all subjects statistics were pooled together, their RMRs showed a significant elevation of 7-11%. Converting to 300cals per wk / 1200cals per month / 14,400cals per year or 2.5-4.5kg of body fat per year. Compound the above figure over a couple of years & things become very interesting for YOU.

Want your children to grow into healthy Adults ? Then encourage them to participate in activities that promote physiological awareness. According to a study by Gordon-Larsen P (2014) "regular participation in physical activity ( PA) provides significant health benefits for young people such as obesity prevention & improved psychosocial wellbeing, furthermore, (PA) behaviours adopted during adolescence are more likely to be maintained during adulthood" underscoring the relevance of adequate participation during this stage of life. Flintoff & Scraton's (2001) findings support this view, they interviewed very active girls who described "having learnt new skills, increased self-esteem, improved fitness & developed new social networks as motivation to be physically active", contributing to the continuation of exercise into adulthood. Seems simple doesn't it ? Promote activity & Healthy Children become healthy adults. (Thanks to our young athletes Aurelia & Cella)

Dread Exercise ? Choose a friend to do it with. According to the Department of preventative medicine @ the university of Southern California, people enjoy physical activity more when their with others. As professor G.Dunton suggests "people are more likely to maintain regular exercise & less likely to miss their workouts when they are committed to a friend" Furthrrmore, "those doing physical activity with a partner felt happier, compared to doing it alone"
Simple, to keep moving & stay motivated, choose a friend for a healthier YOU.

Who is your competition ?
If you are constantly trying to compete against others, you may find yourself unhappy according to Dr Lyumbomirsky, researcher at the university of California. Her Study Found "people who compare the results of others to themselves are more likely to be unhappy" C.Hibbert, a clinical physiologist supports the idea "if you want to know joy, let go of comparisons & just be you" Could it be that simple ? In order for you to achieve your Health & Fitness goals, simply focus on what YOU need to BE!
