Sometimes it just happens, and it’s entirely out of your control 🫣

Our tips to help you manage during these trying times:
🚑 keep an emergency flare up kit handy - wet wipes, heat packs, hand sanitizer, chewing gum, whatever helps you!
📍 if you’re out and about, keep track of the nearest bathrooms
😮‍💨 use deep breathing and mindfulness to bring calm to your mind (and gut!)
📋 stick to simple, low FODMAP foods and drinks to allow your gut time to recover and to prevent further symptoms
💚 remember, it’s okay to excuse yourself from the situation if you need to

Hydration is SO underrated for digestion and gut health 💪☺️

Some tips for increasing your water intake include:
💧take a water bottle with you when you’re out and about
💧 if you’re someone who forgets to drink, set reminders on your phone
💧 add fruit, lemon wedges, mint, basil or other flavourings to make your water more appetising
💧incorporate hydration into your routine - have a glass of water first thing in the morning or before or after meals
💧 limit sugary, alcoholic or caffeinated drinks as these can contribute to dehydration
