💡 Cellulitis is more common than you think knowing the signs can help you catch it early!

What is cellulitis ?

Cellulitis is a bacterial infection of the skin that spreads into the deeper tissues. It can affect any part of the body - most often the lower leg - and can become serious if not treated quickly with antibiotics.

Some signs of Cellulitis may be
- Swollen skin
- Painful skin
- Redness
- Warm to touch

Dr Culhane gave a presentation about the GP’s role in mental health care at this inaugural event. More that 300 members of the public attended with local mental health services showcasing to raise awareness and reduce stigma around this common and important issue.
