This is one of my favorite things to show clients when they talk about how its a spinal issue that is causing all there pain!… Knowledge is king here! 🤴🤴

Reading this chart correctly about disk bulges… Most common problem my clients talk about when they went for a scan and their doctor or healthcare provider has told them that they have a disc bulge in the L4-L5 (example location) and that is the cause of there pain!…
This chart goes into a study where they took images of thousands of regular people across various ages who are Asymptomatic (no pain) and they found something interesting!…
Lets take the average age of 40 for example.. 50% of that group where found to have a disk bulge.. but no pain!…

Disk bulges happen, they can flare up and irritate nerves which can cause a fight and flight scenario where the muscles will tighten and give you some grief!…

With correct exercises to strengthen the area and of course some manual therapy But most importantly education ,These muscles flare ups will become more manageable and life will be normal
A disk bulge isn’t a life sentence of pain!
