Due to increased interest in water activities at the farm, we decided to conduct some Water Rescue activities with our staff during the staff meeting.

Gilbert demonstrated how to throw "Life Rings" and "Throw Bags" that can be used to help save someone drowning or having difficulty swimming back to shore. Then all our staff took turns; we also watched videos on other water rescue techniques. Well done to all the staff who participated!

We have six hatchlings so far. Today kids club built a brooder with great success. Thanks to Zahn's hard work and focus the project is complete.

Tonight we have a few chicks starting to hatch. This will be exciting to watch tomorrow during our kids' club Christmas Party.

Last Saturday we held our Kids Halloween Party. Everyone was dressed up in amazing costumes! We played Halloween themed games, bobbed for apples and finished with a messy slime fight. Everyone had a great (but messy) time!

Saturday the 1st of November at Kids Club we will be having our Halloween Party. Come dressed in your favourite Halloween Costume (please bring a spare change of old clothes for a slime activity).

We will be playing Halloween games, Halloween craft activities and more.

Kids Club 9am to 3pm.

Supporting You Better will be running an "Astronomy Night" this coming Wednesday 1st of October, weather permitting. 5:30pm to 8:30pm. All ages welcome with our support workers.

We will provide some snacks, cold drinks, coffee and hot chocolate. There will be one telescope which we will be able to view the Moon, Saturn and hopefully Mars.

At today's kids club we started to decorate the shed for Halloween. We started to make our spiders, gamed and celebrated Peters birthday. Happy birthday Peter!
