Well, that’s a wrap for 2023. How was your year? I find myself reflecting on my own 2023 during these quiet days between the hectic energy of Christmas, and the building energy of what 2024 might bring.
I have always felt a sense of anticipation when entering the ‘doorway’ of the new year. I imagine myself sitting here at this same time next year and reflecting on how 2024 unfolded and wondering what I will be writing then.
In the past weeks leading up to Christmas, I experienced the ending of many traditions in my own family. As grandchildren grew up and passed into different phases of their lives and adult children found themselves in places they hadn’t considered this time last year, we were forced to revise and create new traditions and rituals to suit the present.
It reminded me about the need to always remain flexible. To be able to adjust expectations and create new memories and find the harmony in the present. It reminded me that family, friends and the power of love were all that was needed.
I hope you had a Christmas that brought you gifts that you can carry with you into the coming year and that 2024 brings you even more than you can imagine.

How beautiful to be back in Wollongong sharing the lessons of Moon Magic and A Taste of Reiki with an amazing circle of women.
Thank you to those who made such a commitment to be open and present.
Each one of us left after the three days, changed in some profound way. Healing as we go. 🙏🏼💜
