Hi All.
Hoping everyone is getting by okay in these crazy crazy times.
Letting you all know that I have very limited bookings during this lockdown period and will only be seeing clients via telehealth.
I understand this is not ideal and won't work for everyone. If you are needing to see a physio face to face, please let me know and I can direct you to some fantastic colleagues through the mountains.

We are all needing to do our own risk assessments when it comes to work and family life at the moment. As well as working within the rules and recommendations from Government and professional bodies.

These are not easy times.
Stay safe.
Get vaccinated if you are able to.
Reach out for support.

Thank you Lyz Evans for some great evidence based info to help women make informed decisions around vaccination. Please ...

SPECIAL COVID UPDATE
The NSW Government has announced they will provide FREE access to the SleepwellBaby App (powered by Tresillian) during COVID-19.
NSW families struggling to cope with the stresses of a new baby or toddler now have immediate FREE access to specialist parenting and mental health support via the SleepwellBaby App. Over 40,000 have already downloaded the App that not only helps new parents with their baby’s feeding, sleep and settling, but also helps identify and connect those experiencing distress, anxiety and depression, with critical mental health services. Our thanks to the Hon Bronnie Taylor, NSW Minister for Mental Health, Regional Youth and Women and NSW Treasurer Dominic Perrottet for their support.

Physiotherapy care has real economic benefit! The Australian Physiotherapy Association has released a new report on the economic benefit of physiotherapy care, one of the key areas they looked into was the impact on people experiencing stress urinary incontinence (the leaking of urine with specific activities such as coughing, sneezing, lifting). They found there to be an average of 13.5:1 cost benefit ratio!!! HUGE!! see the info graphic below for more details.
