The Medal for Courage Against Adversity This medal is for people living with or recovering from Physical Disability and/or Mental Illness. There has been no medal for us so I went and made one.

My name is Peter Lee, an amputee (right above elbow), spinal cord injury (right chest and shoulder paralysed) and live with mental illness (depression, anxiety and PTSD). It was many years ago when I struggled to face the World, when an associate said that I appeared happy, I said that I deserve a medal for getting out of bed and a knighthood for smiling, the struggle being so great. I am just one of millions of people who show Courage against Adversity, who get out of bed and face the World with a smile, through debilitating pain and tremendous constraint from subconscious self abuse. It took years to source a unique star medal and a fitting ribbon. Here it is, The Medal for Courage Against Adversity.
