✨Important Update for 2026✨
I am now fully booked for pregnancy and postpartum care through the remainder of 2026.

Closing my books is always a difficult decision to make. I truly wish I could walk alongside every family who reaches out, especially knowing how much a continuity of care journey changes women’s journeys. My philosophy is built on providing deeply personal, heart-centered support, and to stay true to that, I choose to work with only a very limited number of women each month. Honoring these capacity limits is the only way I can stay deeply present and provide the level of care that every individual journey deserves.

To the families I’ll be supporting this year: I am so deeply honored to guide you through the transition into parenthood and provide the dedicated care you deserve.

One of the reasons for my limited capacity at the end of this year is to make intentional space for Birth Rewire & Release work and my specialised Body Work sessions.

💫Introducing “Birth Rewire & Release”💫

There is a difference between “getting through” a birth and actually processing it.

For many of us, the story of our birth remains a tangled knot—fragmented, overwhelming, or tucked away because it feels too heavy to touch. If we haven’t had the chance to truly process the story, our bodies often stay in a state of “bracing.”

This is because birth trauma isn’t just a memory; it’s a physical state. When an event is overwhelming, the nervous system can get stuck in a survival loop. Your mind tries to make sense of the past, while your body scans for “danger” in the present. This is where the fear of a next birth often lives—it’s not a lack of confidence, but a physiological response.

I am honored to introduce Birth Rewire & Release: An embodied approach to unwinding birth trauma. As I complete the Reconnected Birthing Mentorship through Core and Floor Restore, I am opening a limited number of sessions to integrate these powerful, original methodologies into my practice.

These 90-minute sessions integrate your birth story and unwind the physical imprints left behind. We work to help your nervous system understand that while this birth is a permanent part of your journey, the immediate threat has passed. This allows you to carry the experience forward from a place of grounded integration.

As I continue to complete this mentorship and consolidate these skills I am offering these sessions at a special introductory rate of $110 (Normally $180).

The Details:
• A 90-minute 1:1 experience in person
• Availability: Late April through early May

🌿The Season of Growth🌿

I’ve been quiet in this space lately, leaning into my own evolution. The past year has been a deep transition phase for me—a time of refining my philosophy as both woman and midwife.

My slowness here hasn’t been a planned hiatus, but rather a reflection of a very full life behind the scenes. Between the chaos of school holidays, the milestone of my little dude starting Prep, and the intense work of the Reconnected Birthing mentorship, my hands and heart have been quite full. In addition, I’ve been goal setting and planning my year to offer these:
🌿Birth Trauma Debriefing: I’m continuing my work with the in the Reconnected Birthing Mentorship. This work focuses on the social, emotional and spiritual side of pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
🌿C-Section Scar Release: I’m excited to attend the incredible workshops in May to learn her incredible skills and bring them to Cairns.
🌿I’m eagerly awaiting for .lorri.labourbodywork to drop her course. I’ll be to jumping into her teachings to bring fascia informed birth preparation to you.

You’ll notice some changes in the “look” soon, with a new website, but the soul of my work remains the same, only with deeper roots and a more intentional focus. The new look is thanks to the wonderful and talented Hayley , who has helped me put what I do into words.

This shift is about enhancing the support I offer, ensuring it honours the profound transformation of the childbearing years with practice that respects the grit and gravity of these years.

The goal is simple: To ensure you feel heard, held, and whole—both before and after birth.

💫2026 Vision: New Skills, Full Cup, & Fiji Sunsets!💫
Whew, 2025! It was a year of incredible realness. I felt some huge highs—moments that reaffirmed why I do what I do and definitely some downs that taught me more about grace, resilience, and the strength found in rebuilding and restoration.

Above all, a massive THANK YOU to the incredible mums and families who trusted me to support them through their pregnancy and matrescence journey this past year. Your strength, vulnerability, and trust fuels my passion and love for what I do. I’m stepping into the new year with an even bigger heart and more fire in my belly!

🌴Deepening My Skills for You🌴
My goal is to always offer the most nurturing and holistic support possible. 2026 will see new offerings:
✨Going Deeper: I’m continuing my work with the Core Floor Restores Reconnected Birthing Mentorship. This training is about helping women truly reconnect their mind, body, and spirit after birth. It’s soul-level healing, and I can’t wait to bring it to life at BTPM
✨Healing Hands: I’m SO excited to attend a 2-day workshop with the incredible to learn her specialist The C-Section Release Method. For my C-section mamas, this is going to be a profound tool to help you heal and feel whole again. Seriously a game-changer!
✨The Next Chapter: I’m eagerly waiting for courses to drop from .lorri.labourbodywork! I hope to jump into her teachings to bring even more bodywork and comfort for you all

☀️Taking Time to Restore My Soul☀️
You know I encourage you to fill your cup, and I need to lead by example! To make sure I can continue pouring into my work, I’m taking some time off to celebrate and restore. I’ll be off from mid-July through to the end of August. This break is extra special—my husband and I are celebrating our 40th birthdays in beautiful Fiji! We will be soaking up sunshine, family moments and come back refreshed and ready for the rest of 2026.

💫A powerful reminder for all of us in the maternity sphere: the greatest gift we can offer is truly holding space, free from our own projections.💫

The journey through pregnancy and birth is intensely personal, and as practitioners—whether you’re a midwife, doula or doctor,—we are guests in that sacred space.

It is absolutely foundational to providing excellent care that we take the time to explore our own:
✨Personal Fears: Are we projecting anxieties about a specific outcome onto the women’s choices?
✨Biases: Do we favour one birth setting, intervention, or path over another, and why?
✨Past Experiences: Are we letting a previous negative outcome cloud our judgment for the person in front of us?

This self-awareness is not just ‘good practice’—it’s the core of ethical, women-centered care.

As an individual, and through my journey as a midwife, I have had to consciously work and continue working through my own deeply ingrained fears and biases. This inner work is continuous, but necessary. Recognising that the anxiety or a feeling in my body is mine, and not the women’s burden to carry. This allows me to step into my role as a supportive guide, centering their autonomy.

Let’s reflect and ensure our professional discussions are based on good evidence, respect for autonomy and not personal preference or anxiety. When we do the inner work, we can wholeheartedly support the choices of every birthing person, offering them our non-judgmental presence, information and unwavering support.
