Well Done Jason, awesome achievement 🏊‍♂️ Michaelmas Island to Middleton Beach, Albany

IS THIS SWIM A FIRST FOR ALBANY? 🏊

Do you remember Albany man Jason Bresanello?

A few weeks ago we shared his plan to try swim from Michaelmas Island back to Albany.

Well, this morning he came good - setting off in a boat bound for the island around 5am.

He swam the whole way back, landing at Middleton Beach around three hours later.

The 36-year-old father of five and firefighter reckons it's the first time anybody has done the swim.

He was joined on the water by friend Nick Walker in a kayak, while a boat led the way.

Great work, Jason! 👏
