I haven’t made raw treats in over two years 😱

I was so excited to pull up my beetroot this week, after patiently waiting and watching them grow for the last 2 months.

But this is what I got 🤦‍♀️ they look like radish’s, not beetroot! 😭

What did I do wrong?

The leaves were so lush and growing great! They got watered everyday and has a nice spot with about half a day of sun ☀️

Any tips?

So so so so excited to finally be giving Coconut Water Keffir a go 🙌

I tasted it for the first time at least 18 months ago and it’s been on my “to do” list since then 🤦‍♀️

Who has tried it/brewed it? What are your top tips?

Simple tip to stop your tomato plants going psycho ⤵️

Find the new little branches in the forks of existing branches and pick them out 👍

If left these become whole new branches that shoot out at different angles and then grow new branches of their own - that’s why your tomato bush just keeps growing and growing and ending up everywhere! Pick these out early and you stop the spread 👍

If you do this regularly from the time you plant, you can end up with a nice tall bush with only a few outward shooting branches and lots of nice juicy tomatos 😁

I have a quick look and pick each day when I water my vege gardens - it’s made a massive difference and kept my tomato bushes more maintainable.

PS never just chop it at the top to stop is growing or it’ll just stop growing and producing all together.

I’ve been pretty absent on here lately 🤷‍♀️

Truth is, I’ve fallen out of love with social media and business a bit and really fallen in love with more time with my family, slowing down and getting all the stuff done that I’ve always wanted to do.

That’s included time to do stuff like this ⤵️ make Kimchi 🤤

This will sit in my pantry for the next two weeks to ferment - my mouth is already watering thinking about how good it will be 🤤

I used to think fermenting was super hard and I’d never be able to do it, but the more I’ve tried it, the more I’ve realised how easy it is and how much you can experiment with different flavours and styles!

I’m gonna chuck the recipe and some me simple tips for getting it right up on the blog next week - who’s keen to give it a crack 👋
