Glenorie Rural Fire Brigade crews have just returned from two incidents. The first was a grass fire at Maroota, along with Maroota Rural Fire Brigade, Wisemans Ferry Rural Fire Service and Maroota South RFS. The fire was quickly contained by crews supported by bulk water and a bulldozer from the PF Formation quarry.
The second was a tree and wires down in Schwebel Lane. This incident has now been handed over to Endeavour Energy crews.
A reminder, a Total Fire Ban remains in force. Report all fires on 000.

We will be holding an organized notified fireworks event on:

Saturday 22nd November 2025 between 9.00-10.00pm

As part of the requirements to fulfil the needs of the Registration Scheme, it is necessary for us to inform neighbours in the vicinity of the event. This is to try to ensure that people in care, children and pets / livestock, are protected from any possible harm or upset. If you have any queries regarding this event please message us & we will do all we can to minimise the nuisance, but there is inevitably going to be some disturbance.

John Graham has been an incredible supporter of the Royal Flying Doctor Service and the Car Trek. In 2025 he completed his 30th Trek and it's become a family affair.

PF Formation is a proud sponsor of Wings4Kidz & a local young mum, Mel Tunbridge (Bowerman), is set to embark on a 501km Ultra Run of the Strzelecki Desert & aims to raise funds & awareness of this 100% volunteer based charity.
