Position: Casual Support Worker β Newcastle & Maitland

Are you passionate about making a real difference in peopleβs lives? Guardian Community Services is seeking compassionate, reliable, and patient Support Workers to join our dedicated team across the Newcastle and Maitland regions.
π About the Role
As a Support Worker, youβll provide high-quality support to individuals with a range of disabilities to help them live independently and achieve their goals. Supports include Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Community Access.
We are seeking staff with experience or a genuine interest in supporting individuals with complex behaviours. Weekend availability is highly regarded and provides great opportunities for ongoing shifts.

Weβre looking for people who bring:
- Patience, empathy, and genuine kindness
- Understanding of professional boundaries and person-centred care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability, initiative, and a supportive attitude
- Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours
π§Ύ Essential Requirements
- Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or equivalent
- Current First Aid & CPR
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Driverβs Licence and reliable vehicle
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (preferred)
