When people hear the word documentation in the context of separation, they often assume something negative.

Co-parenting with a narcissist is a silent battle no one really sees.

It’s smiling at handovers while your stomach is in knots.
It’s rereading messages ten times before replying — just to make sure you don’t “set them off.”
It’s constantly defending your character to someone who already decided who you are.

It’s exhausting.

You’re not just raising a child.
You’re navigating manipulation, control, blame, and emotional games — all while trying to stay calm for your baby.

Some days you want to scream.
Some days you question yourself.
Some days you feel like you’re the crazy one.

But you’re not.

You’re a parent trying to create stability in the middle of chaos.
You’re choosing peace even when provoked.
You’re documenting everything.
You’re setting boundaries.
You’re breaking cycles.

And the hardest part?
You can’t go “no contact.”
You still have to communicate.
You still have to share decisions.
You still have to see the person who hurt you.

That takes strength most people will never understand.

If you’re co-parenting with someone who twists the truth, plays the victim, or uses your child as leverage — I see you.

Keep protecting your peace.
Keep loving your child louder than the conflict.
One day your child will see who stayed consistent.

And that will matter more than any manipulation ever could. 💛
