Over five years ago, Trisha took the leap into Specialist Disability Accommodation, driven by a vision to create high-quality homes that genuinely make a difference. It’s her drive, empathy and passion that have shaped Living Well Solutions into what it is today.

There’s a big difference between meeting someone in hospital or aged care… and seeing them once they’re in their own home.

In hospital, they’re tired and overwhelmed. In aged care, they can feel stuck.

But when they move into their Specialist Disability Accommodation home, everything shifts — confidence returns, independence grows, and you can see the relief.

This is why we do what we do. 💚💚💚

Did you know? Disability workers in Victoria can voluntarily register with the Victorian Disability Worker Commission (VDWC). Registered workers have their skills, experience and ongoing professional development independently assessed and appear on a public register.

All disability workers, registered or not, must follow a Code of Conduct, report safety concerns, and can be investigated if needed.

In 2021, Trisha began working with Jared and has since witnessed firsthand just how far someone can go with the right supports in place. Together with Blissful Support Services and , we proudly watched Jared flourish in his home, a property that Living Well Solutions held the head lease on, with the goal of one day transferring it directly to him.

That time has now come.

Jared has secured his forever home and built an incredibly solid rental history and glowing references.

From the bottom of our hearts, congratulations, Jared! This is a huge milestone, and we couldn’t be more thrilled for you. 💛

Creating welcoming SDA homes takes teamwork, and sometimes that means everyone pitching in.
Recently Trisha and Tony’s son Ben stepped up to assemble two side tables for one of our homes.
We’re proud to offer homes with care, attention to detail, and a personal touch. Go Ben! 👏

At Living Well Solutions, owners Trisha & Tony are committed to staying up to date with the latest sector reforms and SDA developments to ensure we continue to provide housing that meets modern standards and participant expectations.

They recently attended a SDAA - Specialist Disability Accommodation Alliance meeting, where one of the key discussions was the future of Specialist Disability Accommodation.

A major focus was on legacy housing, such as older homes built under previous care models, and what transitioning away from these properties will mean for participants. With approximately 5,500 participants expected to require new housing as legacy stock is removed, there were valuable conversations about how this shift can be managed.
