🌟 Female Support Workers / Carers – NDIS 🌟
We are seeking experienced and dedicated female Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred support in line with NDIS Practice Standards.
Mandatory Requirements:
• Certificate III and Certificate IV in Individual Support (or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience in:
• Personal care
• Slide sheet use
• Hoisting and safe manual handling
• Fluent spoken and written English
• No international students
• Ability to follow care plans, risk assessments, and support guidelines
• Strong understanding of duty of care, dignity, privacy, and participant rights
• Reliable, professional, and a strong team player
Compliance Requirements:
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Manual Handling certificate
• First Aid & CPR
• Infection control training
• Accurate progress note and documentation skills
Role Details:
• Morning and lunch shifts available
• Shifts range from 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on the day
• Some shifts will involve community access
Morning shifts:
You will work alongside another skilled support worker to assist with:
• Getting the participant out of bed using a slide sheet
• Personal care
• Light household cleaning and daily living tasks
All supports are delivered in accordance with the participant’s care plan and NDIS standards.
Female applicants only due to intimate personal care and privacy requirements.
