A fun and energetic day out in the community đź’ś

Our support worker joined our participant at the Filipino Community Hall in Laverton for a Zumba session—creating a space for movement, connection, and confidence.

With support, Claire was able to:
✨ Participate in a group activity
✨ Engage with others in a social setting
✨ Stay active and enjoy the moment

It’s moments like these that help build confidence, independence, and meaningful connections.

At Unity Care Support, we’re here to support community participation—helping individuals stay active, connected, and involved in what they enjoy.

We also offer Vietnamese and Filipino support workers, providing comfort, familiarity, and better communication.

There are a lot of misconceptions about support services—let’s clear a few up 💜

❌ Myth: Support is only for big needs
✅ Reality: Support is for everyday living—big or small

❌ Myth: You lose independence with support
âś… Reality: The right support builds independence

Not every Monday feels like a fresh start đź’ś

Some days feel slow.
Some days feel overwhelming.
Some days, even the smallest tasks feel heavy.

And that’s okay.

At Unity Care Support, we’re here for those days too—
not just the good ones.

Whether it’s help with daily routines, getting to appointments, or simply having someone there to support you—
we’re here to make things feel a little easier.

We also offer Vietnamese and Filipino support workers, so you can feel understood, comfortable, and supported in a way that feels familiar.

Because real support meets you where you are.

If this week feels heavy, you don’t have to go through it alone 💜

✨ Getting support with daily routines
✨ Planning for the week ahead

A meaningful and empowering day for one of our participants đź’ś

The day began with a change of plans—choosing the library instead of bowling. Supporting this decision is an important part of building independence and confidence in making choices.

At the library, time was spent selecting a book and engaging in reading, helping improve focus and emotional regulation. Games followed, encouraging fine motor skills and social interaction.

Back at home, daily routines like lunch preparation and washing dishes were supported—reinforcing independence in self-care.

The day ended on a calm and comforting note, spending quality time with family đź’ś

At Unity Care Support, we believe that even the simplest moments—making choices, learning, and connecting—play a big role in building independence and wellbeing.

Supporting independence, one day at a time đź’ś

A productive and active day for one of our participants đź’ś

The morning started with a positive routine—breakfast, medications, and light tasks at home—before heading out for a gym session.

With the time available, the choice was made to prioritise health and wellbeing through movement. At the gym, the session included cardio, light weights, and strengthening exercises, with a focus on supporting knee health.

After a great workout, a well-deserved break with sushi and juice to recharge 🍣

Throughout the shift, there was great engagement, cooperation, and a positive mindset—showing how consistent support can help build routine, confidence, and independence.

At Unity Care Support, we’re here to support everyday choices that lead to healthier, more independent living.

Supporting goals, one day at a time đź’ś
