What is your thoughts?

NDIS Minister Mark Butler will announce reforms to the disability scheme on Wednesday that will aim to save more than $6 billion a year by 2035 — and the largely unregulated market of NDIS providers is at the top of his reform list.

This is a little bit chaotic and maybe a little bit of an agenda here by wanting to beat down on Drew's Fraud in the NDIS video, but it does take a more realistic view.

The NDIS should be a national point of pride, a successful initiative to assist those in society with a disability. Many people do great work in the NDIS, its good to see some sort of balance on the report produced by Drew and his mate.

Overall the scheme is a great initiative that all Australians should be proud of. If the fraud can be eliminated totally it would be sensational but fraud isnt limited to the NDIS, its across every government sector in Australia. The big build in Victoria seen 15 Billion stolen by allegedly corrupt unions and officials.

Whats your thoughts?

Coalition frontbenchers have welcomed the government’s plan to rein in spending on the NDIS, but say tackling fraud and misuse must remain the top priority.

With the scheme costing around $50 billion a year and projected to double within a decade, changes are expected to be announced in next month’s federal budget. Providers have been advised to prepare for major reforms and to engage in open discussions about the scheme’s future.

There are growing calls for better consultation with Australians and the disability sector, alongside stronger action to remove fraudulent activity from the system.

Leaders stress that while reform is needed, the focus must remain on ensuring the NDIS is sustainable and continues to support participants to live with dignity and access the services they rely on every day.

NDIS Fraud Case: Important Update

A Melbourne woman has been sentenced for her leading role in a fraud scheme that stole around $800,000 from the NDIS and other government programs.

She has received an additional 2 years and 6 months in prison, bringing her total sentence to 7 years and 7 months, with a non-parole period of 5 years and 7 months.

What happened:

She was the main organiser of a fraud group
Misused NDIS funds meant for her child to buy a property
Set up an NDIS provider business to carry out fraud
Recruited and trained others to do the same
Fraudulently claimed childcare subsidies

This fraud meant that people with disability missed out on supports they needed and were entitled to.

Four other people involved have also been sentenced, with penalties ranging from prison time to community-based orders.

Key message:
Fraud against the NDIS is not a victimless crime. It directly impacts participants, families, and the community. Authorities are actively working to detect, stop, and prosecute this behaviour.

NDIS funding is there to support people with disability
Misuse of funds will lead to serious consequences

Let’s protect the integrity of the NDIS and ensure supports go where they are truly needed.

A Whittlesea woman who was responsible for a daycare fraud ring and trained others in how to perpetrate the scheme has become the fifth and final person sentenced for defrauding the Commonwealth of $800,000.

Here is an interesting perspective, it is a shame the NDIS is constantly being betrayed as a fraudulent scheme that is being abused by all involved, some post and articles claim this is close to the reality.
We know very well there is a lot of fraud, we also see the lives of disabled people first hand, the battles they often endure every day is not something remotely associated to fraud, its tough, it challenging and it is not okay the MSM, often portrays the negatives and never shows the positives.

This is the truth, life is so difficult and challenges are all through out every part of everyday, from getting out of bed to getting dressed, to walking out the front door. That is not referring to physical disabilities as they mostly speak for themselves.

Is the NDIS being unfairly targeted? We think so, we think a lot of those who write articles and produce negative content, should go and spend a day with someone who is disabled.

27/03/2026

Fuel, gasoline, petrol, desiel or gas, is running dry.
The MSM news reported this morning 1 in 6 service stations has ran out of at least one type of fuel.
We all have an obligation to ensure a continuity of supports, what is your provider service plan?

EVs, have jumped in demand and are becoming rarer, rentals are far and few. What is the government going to do to ensure we are able to function as a society but also how are going to make sure we are able to support our participants?

What are your thoughts?

Taken from NDIS's official news page:

A 55-year-old Whittlesea woman has been sentenced as the final member of a Melbourne fraud syndicate that stole about $800,000 from the NDIS, Services Australia, and childcare subsidies.

Identified as the main offender, she misused NDIS funds, set up a fake provider business, falsely claimed benefits for her seven children, and recruited others into the scheme, diverting money away from vulnerable people.

She has now received an additional 2 years and 6 months in prison, bringing her total sentence to 7 years and 7 months (non-parole: 5 years and 7 months).

Four other members have also been sentenced, with penalties ranging up to 4 years in jail.

Authorities say this case sends a clear message: fraud against taxpayer-funded programs will not be tolerated.

We have a new logo, well it is a veriation of our existing logo but with a nice change. Social media, our webpage www.sinceritysupportservices.com.au are not our forte, they are a part of the way we provide information about us. What is the thought on the new logo?

We like it, it is lively and made by AI in a few seconds, gone are the days of spending thousands of dollars in paying a graphic designer, plus as stated, it is not what we are here for. We are not about flash logos, profiles, social media presence and dynamic webpages, we are a support provider who focuses on quality of support.

16/03/2026

We are absolutely 100% a client focused provider, socials are good for some things, notifying the public or raising concerns to a wider audience but this is not our area of existence.

We have never placed too much energy into our web page and our social media presence. Why? Because we live in the real world and our participants are a part of that real world.

However, we have carried some changes to our website, click the link below and let us know through the contact us or feedback page what you think of the page. The new page provides a little more information and a couple of stories from general feedback and also a little bit about us.

Supporting Participants through the NDIS.

We started as a husband and wife team and are slowly galvanising a team of like minded support workers. We are from assorted backgrounds with life experiences and qualifications allowing us to bring change to the lives of those we support. When doing work we love, this is not a job but a way to help those with disabilities and mental health issues. The National Disability Insurance Scheme is the greatest initiative Australia has ever implemented into changing the lives of those living with Disability.

We have a great compassion and love for those who were not long back left to fend for themselves and socially left behind. Sincerity support services was named by a client and it is a name we hold dear to our hearts. Every client we have is seen as a privilege to support, as an honor to be able to be entrusted with the joy of assisting clients to reach their personal goals. Every client is at the forefront of all decisions regarding the support we provide them. So many disabled were neglected by society and often misunderstood. The Australian government’s initiative to create the NDIS, has provided a wonderful opportunity for those with a disability to be become more active members of society, being socially included, focusing on building individual capacity and enabling participants to set personal goals and we love nothing more than to support each of our clients in anyway we can to assist them achieve those goals and more.

We have clients who have been able to return to work, clients who are finding they are talented at arts or music, creating their own brand of soaps or wood working skills that they never thought they had lost. At Sincerity we have a simple and shared approach together as a team and that sees us go “Over and Above” for all our NDIS Participant clients.

We will be taking on more clients this year and have a stable work force of experienced Disability Support Workers and excellent cleaning and gardening staff as well.
