If your glutes aren’t growing… it might not be your exercises. It might be your warm-up.

Research shows targeted glute activation before lower body training can improve neuromuscular recruitment, meaning your brain is better able to switch the glutes on during compound lifts.

If your glutes aren’t properly activated, other muscles often take over, quads, TFL, or even your lower back.

A few minutes of activation work (like band walks, clamshells or glute bridges) can help prepare the hips and improve force production during exercises like squats, lunges and hip thrusts.

Small change. Big difference.

Rest doesn’t fix meniscus irritation. Load does.

The meniscus doesn’t have a strong direct blood supply, which means it relies heavily on the surrounding muscles to absorb force and stabilise the knee.

When the quadriceps, hamstrings, and glutes aren’t strong enough, more stress is transferred directly into the joint.

That’s why rehab isn’t about avoiding movement. It’s about restoring strength and control in the tissues that protect the knee.

These resistance band exercises target the muscles that clinically reduce joint stress and improve knee stability.

Avoiding load weakens the system.
Progressive load makes it resilient.

If someone comes to me with back pain, this is where we start.

Not crunches.
Not stretching endlessly.

We start with the transverse abdominis.

This muscle acts like a built-in brace for your spine.

When it’s weak or inactive, your back takes the load.

When it’s working properly, your spine is supported.

This is how you fix the cause not just the symptoms.

Save this for later.

Most women aren’t using resistance bands that are too heavy.

They’re using ones that are too easy.

And it makes sense. When you’re training at home, it’s natural to choose the option that feels comfortable. But comfort doesn’t create change.

Your muscles only adapt when they’re challenged.

This doesn’t mean every set should feel impossible. But by the end of your set, you should feel your muscles working. That familiar burn. That moment where you know a few more reps would be difficult.

This is the signal your body needs to get stronger.

Resistance bands are incredibly effective, but only when the resistance is enough to stimulate the muscle. If you can do endless reps without fatigue, your muscles have no reason to adapt.

This is why progression matters.

Starting lighter is okay. But over time, your body needs more challenge to continue improving.

Strength isn’t built from doing what’s easy. It’s built from gently asking your body to do a little more than it did before.

And the beautiful part is, this can all happen from home.

No gym required. No complicated setup. Just the right resistance, and consistency over time.

One of the most common questions we get is this:

“Can resistance bands actually grow my glutes?”

And the honest answer is yes. For most women, they absolutely can.

Your glutes don’t know whether the resistance comes from a barbell, a machine, or a band. They only respond to tension, effort, and consistency.

Resistance bands are incredibly effective because they create the most tension at the exact point your glutes are working hardest, at full extension. This is where the muscle is forced to contract fully, which is essential for strength and development.

But the biggest difference we see isn’t the equipment.

It’s consistency.

The women who see results aren’t doing 2-hour gym sessions. They’re doing small, repeatable workouts they can sustain. 10–15 minutes. A few times per week. At home. Between work, kids, and everything else life throws at them.

You don’t need perfect conditions.

You need something you can actually stick to.

That’s why we created Cheeky Peachy. Tools that fit into real life, so you can build real strength over time.

Strong glutes aren’t built in one workout. They’re built in the moments you show up, even when it’s not convenient.

And that counts more than anything.

Stop copying routines made for people
whose job is fitness.

Because if you’re a mum, business owner, partner, taxi driver, lunch-box maker, emotional support system and household manager…

…their life is not your life.

Most influencer routines are built around:
✔️ Flexible schedules
✔️ Full nights of sleep
✔️ Recovery time
✔️ Minimal mental load

Meanwhile you’re running on:
❌ 5–6 hours of broken sleep
❌ Sick kids
❌ Work deadlines
❌ Decision fatigue
❌ Guilt for taking time for yourself

And then you wonder why you “can’t keep up.”

It’s not because you’re lazy.
It’s because the plan was never built for you.

Real progress as a tired mum looks like:
🤍 10–20 minutes when you can
🤍 Walking + strength
🤍 Gym some weeks, home others
🤍 Showing up imperfectly
🤍 Starting again without shame

Not dramatic.
Not aesthetic.
But sustainable.

And sustainable is what changes lives.

If your routine fits your life,
you’ll actually stick to it.

And if you stick to it,
you’ll feel stronger, calmer, and more like you again.

That’s the goal. 🤍

Coming back into the business has been a little humbling if I’m being honest.

A lot has changed since I first started, especially advertising. Costs are wildly different now, and while we had a really solid weekend, the reality is that once ad spend is accounted for… there’s not much left on the table.

So yep it’s back to the drawing board. More learning, more tweaking, more figuring out what works now, not what worked back then.

But here’s the part I’m genuinely excited about 👇
The demand is still there. People are still backing the product at this price point, and that tells me there’s something worth building on.

2026 feels like a year of refinement, smarter decisions, and doing things better not louder. And honestly, I’m excited about what we’re going to create throughout the year.

Progress isn’t always pretty, but it’s still progress. 🤍
