Introducing JANET SECCULL !! Coming to Island Pilates in December!

Janet has a lifelong passion for horses and dressage in particular- dedicating herself to training horses from breaking stage to Gran Prix.

Janet has come from a history of back pain due to working with horses and Horticulture; and has first hand experience in receiving the benefits of healing from PILATES.

Janet has recently obtained her DIPLOMA in Pilates ; and is ready to teach some classes for riders.

Pilates Method Alliance conference in China ! How interesting; beautiful and eye opening - so much opportunity and learning and collaboration with some of the best Pilates people in the world ! What a privilege I had to volunteer at this and make some great friends in other countries like China; Singapore; Italy ; Germany; USA; Turkey - and local presenters from Australia also !! The future is bright for PILATES worldwide !

Manana confidence !! Literally means tomorrow confidence …. Today my hamstrings are tight - from what I don’t know - that does not matter - but I go to Pilates today - and tomorrow- they are fine/ normal again !

Barre Pilates - the best low impact workout that will improve strength and joint health - it is intense but easily modified for beginners.

Benefits include improved balance, fitness, feet strength, glute strength and core strength. It is fun, it is a mood booster and will give you a feeling of inner youthfulness!

Give it a try - you will LOVE it. Our barre classes are held Saturdays 7.15 am Sundays 9 am; Wednesdays 7.30 pm and Thursdays 7 am.
