For ALL women and girls:
Rights. Equality. Empowerment.

I missed posting on International Women’s Day. Not on purpose, I was celebrating my baby girl turning 10 with her friends, her sister and my mum. I hope their generation continues to close every inequality gap with the support of my generation and my mothers.

I was raised by a strong, full time working single mum. I am surrounded by talented women who I am lucky enough to call friends and family, and I work for and along side amazing leaders in field who are, in my world, mainly women. I am also raising 2 equally incredible young women, who are in turn surrounded by more talented young women and their awe inspiring mums. The future is bright.

But only takes a quick Google search to see we still don’t have equity even in the ‘lucky country’. We still have around a 12% gender pay gap, have underrepresentation in leadership roles and experience much higher rates of violence and sexual harassment. And the statistics of inequality only increase for our First Nations and Transgender women.

Men, Educate yourself. Women’s rights are not annoying, bu****it complaints. We are tired and we need your support in the home, at work, as friends, as partners and as bystanders. Call out bad behaviour, especially from your mates. I know you see it. Raise your voice.

Women, support other women. There is enough room for all of us to rise ❤️ ☀️

🖤 HAPPY 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO ME 🖤

I’ve been ‘in industry’ for 22+ years, and the last 5 of those have been learning and growing at . First as a Dermatology NP candidate, and for the past two years a qualified, endorsed Nurse Practitioner. I’ve learnt, I’ve mentored, I’ve been challenged and grown professionally, and I’ve made friends who will last a lifetime.
In that time I’ve also accepted a position as the only NP trainer and faculty member at ANZ, something I am also incredibly proud of.

I have a diverse and challenging professional life and get to collaborate and connect with the most incredibly inspiring people, both at NSDL and Allergan 🖤

So what does 2025 look like?

✖️Wednesday and Fridays are my NSDL clinical days. Jump on the link in bio to make a booking or to find out what a Dermatology NP does!
✖️Thursdays are my dedicated procedural days working along side the fabulous
✖️Ad hoc Mondays/Tuesdays and some weekends are my training days for Allergan
✖️ + Ad hoc weekend events, conferences and other industry meetings…
✖️ And then there’s my full time mum of 3 life to juggle, but prioritise! ❤️

A big thank you to everyone who has supported me and continues to do so… from my patients who I am fortunate enough to treat, through to colleagues and mentors who I continue to learn from.

It’s going to be another big year!

A fantastic educational conference in Bangkok to celebrate Allergan Medical Institute turning 10. I’ve been lucky enough to be involved with Allergan in many capacities since 2007, so it was wonderful to be able to celebrate this milestone with friends and colleagues from all over JPAC. I look forward to seeing what the next 10 hold! Thanks again for the opportunity.

Back in my happy place at NSDL seeing patients. I’m currently booked out until October with a Nov and Dec already half full. If you are wanting to see me pre Christmas please consider booking ahead… the silly season is closer than we think 🖤

This pretty much sums up our weekends too. Our local games are Ryde, Pennant hills or Cintra (Concord) which aren’t even close to the beaches! It’s terrible. The grounds and space really are ‘boy sport’ dominant 😞

Sports predominantly played by women such as hockey and netball are missing out on space to train and play to traditional male sports.
