Plantar Fasciitis is one of the most common causes of heel and arch pain. It occurs when the plantar fascia (the thick band of connective tissue running from your heel to your toes) becomes irritated, overloaded, or inflamed. This tissue plays a crucial role in supporting your foot’s arch and absorbing shock with every step.

What Can Trigger Plantar Fasciitis? A range of factors can contribute to its onset, including:

🛑 Sudden increase in activity or training load (running, walking, or standing more than usual)
🛑 Poor foot biomechanics, such as flat feet, high arches, or over-pronation
🛑 Tight calves or Achilles tendon, increasing tension through the plantar fascia
