Cape Town did something to my hormones.
Not just the views…
The way I was living.
PCOS used to feel like being stuck in survival mode.
Wired. Inflamed. Tired but never actually able to switch off.
Travel looked “fun” from the outside… but my nervous system never actually arrived.
This trip felt different.
Because I’m different now.
Healing my hormones wasn’t just about fat loss.
It was learning how to actually live in a way that supports my body.
✨ Slower mornings with real food protein, healthy fats, actual nutrients instead of skipping meals and running on caffeine
✨ Wearing clothes I feel good in not hiding from bloating or body shame
✨ Things that genuinely regulate my stress sauna, skin treatments, long walks by the ocean
✨ Moving because it feels good… not to punish myself
✨ Laughing, staying out for sunset dinners, eating without the anxiety running in the background
For the first time in years…
I didn’t just visit a place.
I was actually present in it.
That’s what getting your hormones balanced gives you back.
Energy. Confidence. A nervous system that isn’t constantly on fire.
Your actual life.
If you have PCOS and feel like your body is always braced for something…
It’s not permanent. I promise. 🤍
