Happy Easter Holidays from all of us at Yarra Ranges Kinders! 🐰🌼

Our kinders will be closed from Friday, 3rd April and will reopen on Monday, 20th April, while our children, families and educators enjoy a well-deserved break.

Our Head Office will be closed from Friday, 3rd April and will reopen on Tuesday, 7th April.

We hope everyone has a safe and joyful break, and we look forward to welcoming our preschoolers back on Monday, 20th April!

Still time to make a donation to the Good Friday Appeal 🏥❤️

Everyone at YRK are proud to support the Royal Children's Hospital's Good Friday Appeal again this Good Friday. We're committed to raising funds for a cause that resonates deeply within our community and hearts. 💝

Our very own Mel, one of our fabulous, Area Managers at YRK has experienced the compassionate care of the RCH firsthand. When her son Jackson required lifesaving surgery, the incredible medical team forever changed his life. Today, Jackson is a thriving 11-year-old, and Mel's gratitude knows no bounds.

Thanks to the RCH, we know many of you share similar stories of hope and healing. That's why we're reaching out to our generous community—it's time to rally for these heroes!

On Wednesday 1 April, our YRK Lancaster Preschool participated in a vibrant Colour Run to raise funds and support children living with epilepsy.

Our children and educators enjoyed a fun-filled obstacle course in the preschool playground, surrounded by a rainbow of colours under the shining sun. It was a joyful and memorable experience for everyone involved.

This special event also helped raise awareness about epilepsy in a meaningful way for our children. It holds particular significance for our preschool community, as epilepsy is something one of our kinder friends bravely manages every day.

We are so proud to come together in support, celebration, and understanding. 💜

Our kinders will be closed as of Friday 19th December and will reopen again for Term 1 on Thursday 29th January 2026.

Each year, we celebrate the adoption of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. It’s a day to protect children’s rights, support their wellbeing, and make sure their voices are heard for a brighter future.

This World Children’s Day, UNICEF Australia invites every child to speak up through A Minute of Loudness! Kids are encouraged to share their ideas on how to make the world a better place for all children—especially when it comes to play.

Play is essential. It helps children learn, grow, connect, and heal—no matter who they are or where they live. Through play, children make friends, explore the world, and feel happy. 💛
